Hourly Comics

Postby a386 » Mon Jan 12, 2009 10:18 am UTC

ok so john campbell does a thing called the hourly comic dot com, and i'm pretty sure some more people are also doing it. also on february first everybody is invited to join him for a day.
however.
i was reading through his and ryan pequin's and they seemed like such a good time i simply could not resist, so i did a weekend's worth of them in the past two days and here it is.

i like this project alot and john campbell if this comes off like me biting from you i'm really really sorry

i was reading the ones in the forums and i don't think a lot of people who do it on the first are in highschool and that will make me self conscious. *calendar calendar* WAIT! the first is a saturday! this post is useless?

Did Randall do one?
"It may help to understand human affairs to be clear that most of the great triumphs and tragedies of history are caused, not by people being fundamentally good or fundamentally bad, but by people being fundamentally people"

I completely forgot to do one myself. I may do one later in the week to make up for it.

I'll be exposing my low I.Q. here, but I don't really get most of those...
Or, rather I guess I get them, but I just can't seem to crack a smile from most of em.

There's not much to get? They're just snapshots of life, i dunno. Some of them were funny things that happened but some were just things.
I didn't see one from randall but how great would that be

A visual Twitter...could this take off, perhaps? On a device like an iPhone, drawing could be as fast as typing.

The style is pleasantly reminiscent of Cyanide and Happiness. I wish I could draw curved-line stick figures, but my hands are too shaky.
