Welcome to the Fit Club!
A lot of us are pretty unsatisfied with the physical state of our bodies, but lack the motivation or support to do anything about it. This is it!
Along with the normal forum rules, here are some more things you should keep in mind:
[1] Be Respectful – If you’re going to come in and poke fun or be mean, this is just not the place for you. No negative comments or feedback, please. Constructive critism is welcome, but not insults. Please be mindful of other people’s feelings.
[2] This is Not a Pro-Ana/Pro-Mia Community – Your beliefs are your beliefs, but that is unhealthy and unsettling. Please keep that out of here.
[3] Use the Information Found Here Responsibly - Remember that what worked for someone else may not work for you. Don't overwork yourself, and if you want to start a regimen that you see here, make sure to work up to it if it's more work than your body is used to doing. Remember, this is for you to become healthier, not to cause yourself harm! Baby steps are your friend. Please be sure to consult your doctor or a physical trainer so that you can tailor a diet and exercise plan to your specific needs. Not everything is possible for everyone, so it is definitely a good idea to make sure you're staying within your boundaries.
The way it works: each member of the fora who chooses to participate may start their own thread. This is more of a personal progression place than anything else. Your first post should (but does not HAVE to) include: age, starting weight, goal weight, height and objective. Offering tips, support and motivation is encouraged. It’s easier to do something like this with the support of your peers. I cannot stress enough that only positive feedback/constructive criticism is accepted here. If you intentionally try to make another person feel bad about some aspect of themselves, your presence is not welcome here.
Your thread is yours to do what you please. If you want to post pictures to show progress or keep a food and exercise log, go for it. This is for your benefit, so do what will help you!
So there you go! Have at it, and have fun. If you have any questions/suggestions, feel free to PM me.
