Ice-->Rock

Postby extrablue » Mon Apr 05, 2010 11:58 am UTC

Holy crap Batman.

Got the first rock day in after the ice season and my hands are toast, my back and shoulders are fried and my calves and forearms feel like I didn't even get a day outside. Not too mention it took forever on top rope to do an easy slab. This was my first winter not bouldering too and I'm amazed at how hard it is to transition after the ice season. Anyone else feeling this?
Sorry,
If I'm on internet forums I'm probably drunk.

I'm still holding onto the idea that it's winter as I want to get one more winter trip in before it's truly summer. On the other hand I've been bouldering hard indoors all winter so by the time I get out onto real rock I should be nails.
