Got out again, after reading that post over there about decreasing mile time. Ran my mile in 12:40 secs... said no, it's too much,.. went back to google, and now with "google walk" I've realized that the circle I'm running around, that I supposed to be a "bit" over 800 meters, thus making 2x a mile, is 1150 meters...

Still, 12:40 is too much time for 2.3 kilometers... I used to do 1km in 4 minutes easily..

anyway, here's to the 10K miles

1778.85 + 5= 1783.85

This is in 2 days 3+3,
are you guys running 7 miles on a same run?
and how long does it take for you a 7 mile run?
Or how is your average mile time?

I'm finding the data recording helpful to go run the next day...

First: 1834.25 + 8 = 1842.25

Second.

Yes. I run these miles on the same run.
Depends. If I run 7 miles, I'm hitting something like 8:30 mile run. Sometimes, on a super hot or bad day, 9:00, depending on whether I'm running *just* 7 miles or more. I'm not really a natural runner, though. I'm sure you could find folks who can run faster.
I never took an average. When I run 3 miles, I try to make it no more than 7:30. If I run more, my time increases. It's all about pacing.

Yep, I do 7-8 miles as a Sunday run. During the week I'm usually time limited as I'm running in my lunch hour.

7 miles usually takes about an hour, but then I'm running with the dog so I have to stop to pick up after him, retrieve him from hedges, etc. During the week (i.e. no dog) I run between and 8 min and 8min 30 mile, depending on how knackered I am.

Ah, forgot to add some workouts:
1918 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 2 = 1928
... with gigantic melancholies and gigantic mirth, to tread the jeweled thrones of the Earth under his sandalled feet.

Might as well give you guys some fresh blood. The more the merrier, right? Plus, it'll encourage me to run consistently.

From yesterday's workout:

1928 + 3 = 1931

Sorry it's not as far as most of you, but I'm still pretty new to this.
There's a method to my madness. Somewhere. Don't worry, I'll find it!

New to the forum and seeing this thread needs some help I will post my trainings here to.

Only a sprinter so contribution will be small, but the smallest things can tackle the biggest objects right :)

[800m warm up + (4* 120m sprint)+60m finisher]/1600 = 0.8375 miles or 0.8 to keep it with one significant figure.

2000.5 + 0.8 = 2001.3 :)
