Any opinions here about Northrock bikes?

Postby Ryom » Mon Jun 25, 2012 6:39 am UTC

I am considering a new bicycle and saw what appeared to be a fairly nice one at Costco. The manufacturer is Northrock Bikes. Anyone here have experience with this brand?

I do mainly paved road biking, although rough terrain is a possibility. I generally am not out in inclement weather.

Generally speaking the bikes costco sells are a good deal if you are looking for an entry level bike. With one caveat: the bikes are assembled by costco rather than a professional and you may end up with some loose bolts and nuts or other such stuff. ... So if you are looking for a really cheap but ok bike: buy it from costco but double check it or you may end up with something like this.
