Is it Free Comic Book Day again already?
I seem to consistently end up missing out on desirable items every year and deeply regretting it later. (It's darn hard to find Free Comic Book Day items again once the day has passed.)

No, I was just planning on picking up something random, as I'm not a print comics kind of guy. Any suggestions?

I'm glad I made this thread to remind me.
Salon.com usually has a pretty good article up, but not today. This looks useful, though:

EDIT: And of course, The Stuff of Legends was not available at the two locations I checked. I got Atomic Robo and Comics Festival. (I find myself rather resentful of Brian Clevinger's meteoric rise to success on the back of a sprite comic that should have been put out to pasture several years ago. Oh well.)

Was that the Green Lantern one? I picked it up. I've never read Green Lantern before, and it was a good intro.

I so badly wanted that, but couldn't get it.

Hey, a lantern fan?
I just read the Final Crisis: Rage of the Red Lanterns. I've been behind, catching up with the caped crusader and all that...

Well, I still have mine, and I'm not one to be concerned about keeping them.
If Jesse and Daoshi can decide between themselves who wants it, it can be sent. It's still in good nick (it has been read by at least three people - may have some light wear).

(I actually got 2 of them. One for me, and one for my friend who's going to Wabash [college]... They're even bagged and boarded at this point...)
But thanks for the offer! I was going to offer to send Jesse one, but... yes... It's for a friend who was really into the Sinestro Wars, and I <3 Lantern Corps. I might be able to see if my local hobby store happens to have any extras...

I will tell you how far behind I am on Lantern comics right now. The last one I read was Kyle Rayner giving the ring back to Jon Stewart and leaving earth. Sooo long ago.

Here we are again! Any news of anything intriguing?

No takers?
Reviews that I found did not seem to suggest much of interest was available - but nonetheless, by the time I got out, even the vaguely interesting stuff was completely gone.

For some reason I went again last year, and ended up with another small pile of stuff that didn't much interest me, partly to soothe my disappointment over missing out on the MLP/Adventure Time book. I really shouldn't bother! I feel like I'm imposing on the shop proprietor.
