Comics you Remember Reading but Can't Remember the Name of.

Postby scikidus » Wed Jan 06, 2010 2:26 am UTC

I remember this one comic very well, but I can remember neither the comic strip name nor if it exists online.

The comic follows roughly like this.

Setting: A is playing with toys, B walks up.

B: Huh, Legos? Aren't you a little old to be playing with toys?
A: Aren't you a little young to lose your sense of childhood wonder?
*B stands dumb*
*B joins in play with A*

---------

This is driving me nuts. Was it perhaps Pearls Before Swine? I cannot remember at all. Grr. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I found it! Thank you, internet!

The comic was from Chuck and Beans.

Which webcomic? "I am a good robot"

Postby DataPacRat » Sat Jan 30, 2010 12:21 am UTC

Today's xkcd has reminded me of a couple of sideplots from one of the webcomics I've read, which center around the quote "I am a good robot". One involved a pair of planetary-exploration robots, one of which is about to be destroyed and (spoiler) ends up being 'caught' by the other... another involved an interstellar probe, just after launch, encountering something that damages its memory and renders its original course unviable, requiring reprogramming with part of another robot's software; with the last line being something like, "But I like stars /more/!"

I could have sworn that they were from Freefall, but after skimming through the archive, if they're there, I've entirely missed them. Perhaps they're from another webcomic entirely?

Does anyone have any idea what it is I'm actually referring to?

web comic that stopped awhile ago. featured a goth boy...being gothy i guess. the merchandise included zombie pins. the last comic posted, unless it got updated, featured him at a record store all nervous about the girl who worked there.
