@PW

If it is for someone specific then out their name outside the spoiler. If it's for somebody in the current game, they are NOT allowed to read spoilers, nor should you be giving them apoiled messages

I'm about to go to bed - can you guys PLEASE keep content to a minimum the next 24 hours I have work tomorrow and my projects are all going insane (in a bad way ugggggggggh) and then it's SURVIVOR THURSDAY :D :D :D :D :D which means i'll be watching the TWO HOUR SEASON PREMIERE and then obsessively redditting for the rest of the night NO MORE FIVE PAGE STUFF i mean seriously. for reals.

i might mod a game after this except it'll have a post limit where you may only post once per RL day or something (maybe scum wouldn't get to choose who they kill, instead one person at random is killed and it's determined based on the % of total posts they have or something - though then players would conspire to each post like 10 posts per game day, padding out as required by splitting posts up or by posting just "."s so who knwos. Ugh.

Or just mod a super hyper turbo with 48 hour days and 24 hour nights. My job??? Pfft my projects aren't getting any later (oh wait they're getting six months late one day at a time nvm)

Stellaris

Spoiler:
Ugh, this is frustrating. If Zen hadn't put everyone under so much pressure I probably could have saved heuristically_alone.

I saw heury visit Zen. I also think Sabrar may be a commuter.

I think heury targeted Sabrar, was redirected to Zen, got a town result.
Sabrar was commuting so he knows heury didn't visit him, hence the "LOL" response to heury's claim.

If things had gone slower I could have joined Sabrar and kept heury alive.

Btw, if all this is true that means Zen is cop-confirmed town.
Ideally both me and Zen survive to D3 and heury flips cop, allowing me to claim Zen is town.

The problem is, Zen painted a huge target on himself with his executive order play and it will be very hard to keep him alive without claiming.

I think Sabrar wants to use the fact that he's confirmed town to draw the night kill and commute to safety. (although two commutes in a row is huge in this game so probably not)

Edit: One thing I hadn't thought of yet is the possibility that I was redirected instead of heuristically_alone

Spoiler:
I was so surprised to wake up and see I was dead already but understandable with the possibility of day ending, which looks straight up bad for zen. I really can't decide if he's town trying to save his neck (and honestly doing a good job at that) or scum going down so trying to take others with him. I claimed cop early because it looked like I was likely to be lynched so I didn't want it to look like a claim just trying to save my neck, which Sabrar actually read correctly. Also I was worried about day ending so I wanted to get my read it there. I didn't claim one shot just in case my claim made enough people town read me, so that mafia would maybe kill me at night. I don't believe I'll read spoilers until end game, but I'm so tempted!

There's a certain amount of freedom involved in cycling: you're self-propelled and decide exactly where to go. If you see something that catches your eye to the left, you can veer off there, which isn't so easy in a car, and you can't cover as much ground walking.

I'm a HUGE Survivor fan! It'd be so fun to have a survivor game here if we could rally enough people. I'd even be willing to mod it as I have plenty of ideas. It will also be nice to have a ghost island chat buddy.

I meant survivor ORG*

I was thinking of trying to rally people from the forum games community and maybe also the survivor subreddit, do a Fans VS Favourites sort of theme.

By "huge survivor fan" do you mean that you also listen to like 4 hours of survivor podcasts a week? Did you understand the reference in my big red X? SO MANY QUESTIONS

we are now best friends i hope you don't mind

I've had dreams of having a best friend named Madge :)

I've watched every season since 2009 when Survivor was first introduced to me and gone back and watched a handful of season from before then. I enjoy reading the survivor games played on mafiascum and coming up with my own ideas for a survivor season. I'd love to work on the show a Survivor as a dream job. I've never really gotten into listening to podcasts. Never figured out the best time to listen to podcasts. You're likely bigger fan than I haha.

What a coincidence I've always dreamed of having a best friend named Heuristically_alone!

RHAP is amazing :). I listen on my commute.

If you have ideas for a survivor season then you should totally run one! I've put feelers out for a game on here and never been met with unbridaled enthusiasm but who knows if that would have changed.

I'm excited for the new season. Certainly an 'interesting' idea for a gimmick, but I love it when people are forced into making big/important decisions. Always interesting to see how people react to being put in hard situations.

I just love how mysterious the whole thing is and how survivor is really acknowledging its history. i'm such a survivor nerd that i'm looking forward to what they do!! (they have all past torch snuffers on ghost island - Jeff Probst keeps them after each season so they are from his personal collection).

would sabrar just state what his damn scum slip is. I think I know it's an assumption huery will.flip town.
And I have an answer which is a 1 shot cop on sabrar giving a town result, which is why I actually assume huery is actually scum but giving your teammate a town false cop is far to obvious. But i need his reasoning first.

On mafiascum some games started adding a post limit rule that was interesting to balance out the game a bit from players that post a lot compared to players that post less, implemented because so many games are so hard to keep up with since there are so many more average posts per game than here. Basically after the 2nd page your posts werent allowed to be more than 20% (or some percentage) of the total posts or you would be automatically modkilled.

On their site you can pull up the full list of players in a specific game and it will tell you stats, like how long it has been since they posted, how many posts they've made, ect. All the players and mod tend to use it frequently.

You could run the game dayless. Make a couple chat groups, give some interesting night actions and a few messaging powers. Threads are very short that way :)

Spoiler:
All those claims have put my result on quite a rollercoaster :D
I really hope I survive to D3 because I'm not sure my flip is entirely decipherable.

So, heury flipping town pretty much confirms Zen as town (cop result) and wam as scum.
heury flipping scum also pretty much confirms Zen as town because why would scum!heury target his buddy?
heury flipping indie isn't indicative

Redirection seems less likely given wam's claim. (unless he's lying scum) If wam visited Sabrar I wasn't redirected to Sabrar so heury did actually visit Zen.
