Although i guess he is there to help the pacifist out. Pacifist only wins if he and the anarchist vote for the king before the townies lynch a single mobster.

Am I right?

Afraid not true with the mafia help bit. Several reasons.. Firstly the mafia dont know how many there are, or if there are any. Possibly more crucially upon death they are revealed as townies, unless I misread the info...

I highly doubt the majourity of players at the start want the judge dead.
I might be wrong, though. Nebuduck is certainly crafty.

What would be hilarious would be if everyone wanted him dead, but obviously that isn't the case since I'm town-aligned.

Don't tell anyone... but, that was a joke. I was trying to get the mafia to all vote for our (long live the) king. Then we would know who to lynch...

Keep it on the downlow...

I would be willing to bet that there is no mafia, just regular townies, anarchists and pacifists. You know what that means...

In response to someone: There is no time limit on days, as such, but when a day exceeds 24 hours I will begin to do some things to hopefully speed it up - providing certain bits of information, that sort of thing. However, if it's obvious that everyone is procrastinating to get this information, then I'll not provide it.

Well, I suppose the other question you must ask yourself is if my methods for speeding up the game will necessarily be advantageous to you. For example, mod-killing half the townies will undoubtedly speed it up...

The Moo Prophet is now in the game. I have decided on TMP's role, and hopefully everything will remain balanced.

If there is no juicy activity in the next 3 hours 30 minutes I will take action to move the game along. This action will most likely be allowing AKAnotu to execute someone of his choosing without the town's permission. That is all.

Ok, we need to develop a serious strategy fast. (although being judge jury executioner would be fun)
There's no roleclaims, so no luck there.
There's two to three mafia, and we have no information or slip ups whatsoever.
The ones that strike me as most suspicious are Overbored and Azreal, for stating that they don't think that there's mafia.
We can find out bloody easily if there's mafia or not: lynch someone.

I didn't say I didn't think there was mafia, I was simply pointing out that there is the possibility of there not being mafia. I also think that if that is the only thing that you have to go on, you would be better off lynching me based on that. I guess given the circumstances, it is the most concrete evidence we have...

The existence of mafia is easy to prove, when the game started, the townies didn't instant-win
The anarchist doesn't count as a mafia member, so the game doesn't go on if he's alive.

I don't know that there is no mafia, but Nebuduck did say that we would hate him at the end of this, I think it is because of the set up of the roles. I would be am willing to bet my life on it actually.

I am actually leaving and will be off line for a good long while, I figure that I can help speed up the game by being really suspicious.

It is very stress relieving to vote for the judge actually, you should try it.

In all fairness, he started it.

AKAnotu, I'm sorry, you've misunderstood. The winning move for the mafia is killing you. The winning move for the town is ensuring you do not get killed. Therefore, the town can only win by ensuring that there's no-one who wants you dead. I will inform you when this is the case.

So, you need to get rid of mafia and anarchists. I can guarantee you that there is at least one person who is a mafia or an anarchist.

Pacifists may also want to kill you (since they basically want to end the game ASAP), but once mafia and anarchists are gone, they no longer have any incentive to kill you (they can't end the game by the mafia/anarchists winning) so they become firmly pro-town.

Edit: Oh, also, this counts as juicy. Therefore, I am no longer likely to carry out my game speed increasing tactic anytime soon.

Well, there's been no daykill yet. The mafia (if there is one) probably want to drag on their "unknown" position for as long as possible. The doctor might have succeeded, but we have no way of knowing that.
My guess is that the kill is going to come when only one more vote is needed to lynch (if there is a kill)
Voting for the judge is rather suspicious, but might have been a mistake, and Az forgot who the judge was. However if Az is leaving, then it's still beneficial to lynch him, even if he turns out to be townie, because he wont be contributing anything while gone (other than headcount), and will make it harder to get a vote through.

Thats an interesting point.. When are the mafia able to kill? I assumed it would be after the lynch just sorta like night happened but we didn't waste the time. but the rules don't say that, and it woulda sorta make sense if they didn't have to.

I was of the impression that the results of all night activities would be announced at the end of the day, rather than during it? That would make more sense to me.

Uh, I don't think Az voting for you was a mistake or a result of forgetfulness...It was probably just a joke. You know, he votes for me, I'll vote for him (and it's even funnier cause he's the JUDGE)- that kind of thing.

Nope, the mafia can kill during the day.

so the mafia kill during the day, not at night, and may also discuss during the day

Since there's no time specification, I'm assuming it's whenever they choose. And if that wasn't their strategy about when to kill, it probably is now.

Oh, I was planning on announcing it at the end of the day. Sorta "Everyone crowds up to watch the lynching. As the body is lowered into the boiling tar* there's a gun shot to the back of the crowd, followed by screams!". That way, it'd give the doctor time to get his protection in before the mafia strikes - otherwise, the doctor's put under a lot of time pressure, and the mafia can just snipe people at the beginning of the day.

*AKAnotu is no longer permitted to use boiling tar as a killing method. That would be plagiarism.

Also, unless requested, I'm not goign to do posts summarising votes. I'm too lazy, and I assume you can all count.

I think you should hang, draw, and quarter them.

That's where you hang someone to the point where they almost die, then let them back down for more air. They do this a couple of times.
Then the slice you open, rip some of your guts out, and then burn them; right in front of you! But you're still alive.
Then, they get four horses, tie each appendage to a horse, and have the horse run in four different directions, ripping you apart!
