The townsbots wake up refreshed and look around. It seems that nobody died, and nobody was lynched—leaving the morning a little dull. The bots had gotten rather used to inspecting a scene of carnage with their morning brewski, and they now find that they rather miss the routine. The more moral and self-reflective robots in the crowd find their craving for bloodshed appalling, and spend the entire morning in a funk.

It is now day 7. 8 players remain, 5 to lynch.

NAR voting Entropy is probably mostly random, though I suppose you never know. I think he's running on Vista.

What are we expecting Timequake to do again? I can't see how not doing NKs helps him in any way. Then again, there is nothing that can help him either way.
Are we expecting him to try and survive until we decide to lynch him?
If so, why don't we lynch him now and get town win?
Am I missing some condition on town win? Do we need to eradicate the cult?

I think no NK means we keep our pool of people up and avoid lylo (you notice it wasn't lylo this morning). I think after we eradicate the cult, we just off TQ and town wins (although if we eradicate the cult, we won't need a de-culter any more...)

We need to eradicate the cult, normally the cult can hide trying to lynch the townies until they are majority and win.

Now that it isnt lynch or lose there isnt any real reason to keep timequake around.

Yes timequake counts towards the cult vs noncult numbers

But, he doesnt really have much chance of winning at this juncture, so he has nothing to gain or lose by playing nice.

He complied last night but he might not tonight, and if we arent in lynch or lose, with another set to be deculted then there is no harm in killing off one (especially when he may choose to kill of one of us).

With NAR's strange voting I still want modly confirmation that we are no longer in a lynch or lose situation.

Since we're not in LYLO, I'm taking the theory that the cult can't recruit without Mom as pretty well confirmed. What should the numbers be around now? I keep thinking Trumpkin'll be the last, but that might be wishful thinking.

So, same plan, or not? I'm more than willing to give no-lynch another spin. (I always was a heretic in that respect. Kind of nice to flout accepted wisdom like this.)

I was in Princess Bride Mafia 'till the bloody end, and that comparison is totally unfair. We had no idea what the hell we were doing, half the players didn't even show up, and days dragged on for a week with no posts before someone finally said "fuck it, Vote X" and everyone else was all "Praise be to Jesus, a bandwagon!!" and hopped on and then night would come and that would take ANOTHER week.

We have plans, now. There's a quorum here, barely. There was more than one post yesterday. This ain't no PBM. Until you have two days go by with no posts at all, I will regard any comparison as impatient emo whining. ^^

Vote: No-lynch to make the mod feel better.

Don't give in to peer pressure!!
