Sorry about the delay.

If you'd like to change your listed pronouns, drop me a PM or post here. I'm always available, though due to issues with my ISP I may not answer immediately. Alternatively, ask a mod for help.

I'm no longer okay with people using gendered pronouns for me. My line should read "ze > they (or other gender-neutral)"

Hello all, I'm new - but I'm looking to start playing once I can catch a newbie game in the sign-ups. I figured here was as good of a place as any to say hello :).

As for pronouns: She/he/any are fine with me.

Pretty much the same as above. Seems like a hell of a time-suck you guys have on here, like I need another one.

All general male pronouns work fine. I'll pop in a game when one looks good.

I've been browsing old Mafia games for a little while, and finally decided I have to try this myself! However, I should probably hold off a little longer in the name of productivity...

Anyway, male pronouns, please.

Any suggestions for games in progress to watch, or a good starter game to join?

Recommends Lataro's Simple Fun game. Needs players currently. Check the sign-up thread.

Premise: I run a game that is newbie friendly, does not use any new/complex mechanics, is mostly flavorless, and is semi open. No bastardry, no tricks, no gimmicks! It being semi-open will stem from me listing a number of different possible setups, and truthfully using one of them, chosen by my mood!
Changes its form depending on the observer.

I am going to throw my hat in as well. I have played a few games of card!Mafia, so this shouldn't be a HUGE stretch. Thanks for the suggestion, Deva.
I am male, and prefer he/him/his. If you want to shorten my name, do not use "Carlton" or "Carling" because they are ugh. Abbreviate my name as "Chris" if it please ye.

I'm not likely to play the Mafia games, but for the purposes of other forum games...

A quick 'net search will reveal what gender I actually am (and the oodles of random places I've posted over the years - I've been using this username for over a decade...). Incidentally, I did once set up a secondary FB account under the alias "Jenny Tuno" (because it sounds vaguely similar to "D'ya need to know?" :D)

Once you've finished using the brain bleach, since my username is an abstract concept, use whatever set of pronouns you feel comfortable using :)

I'll add you here, but it's also unlikely that players of other forum games will look at this list (unless they're mafia players too). Perhaps it would be better to set up such a list in the main subforum.

Funny story.

My screen-name, Djehutynakht, is after the mummy head depicted in my avatar. Or at least I think it is.

You see, Djehutynakht, a governor, was buried in his tomb alongside his wife.

However, Tomb-robbers crashed the joint and messed everything up. Tearing the coffins apart, ripping the bodies apart (to look for precious jewelry hidden in the wrappings...), and that's how the head came to be decapitated.....

Well, long story short they currently have no idea whether this head is of Djehutynakht himself, or of his wife.

I prefer gender neutral, but I really don't care what you call me.

Is there any possibility of this being stickied in the main forum games forum? It'd be just as useful there as in mafia.
