Snark, why did you hammer? It seems like cutting the day short is probably not a good idea in general. The way it turned out, of course, it just ended up looking cool.

I felt like it. For fun. I like having the last word. Pick any three.

Wow! Brilliant. Flawless victory.

I can't believe that 3-way voting worked so well on day 1. Both wam and matt tied for most acceptable lynch!

wam wrote:Yeah we really didn't do well in this game.

And the most annoying thing was that my post that got the initial suspicion on me, when I confused games, was a genuine mistake!

I did also like all the comments where people where saying me and matt were not going to buss each other! I don't know about matt but I was working on the assumption that 1 of us was going to be lynched whatever so we should make sure that there were absolutely no ties.

But you could have easily made mostlynormal get lynched day 1, that's what confused me. It would've looked a bit suspicious maybe but at least you'd have had an entire day to convince everyone you were town. So I guess the bussing worked on me, but I don't know how it was going to work in the long run. It was going to be almost impossible for matt to get everyone to let him be in the final two.

Hey, that's a pretty great record for my first game ever! Thanks everyone, I got a bit lost in the strategy sometimes but I learnt a lot. It was fun.

Of course, the best part is that this is the first time in mafia history that town picked out all the mafia on Day 1. That's miraculous.
Why isn't the multiple voting more common?

I think there was a heavy amount of luck involved in that victory--day one lynches are almost always a crapshoot and honestly I didn't vote matt because I actually thought he was scum, I only voted him by process of elimination--the people I really thought were scum were either getting roleblocked or the cop. So in a way it wasn't scumminess that doomed matt, just being in the wrong position at the wrong time. Really anytime in any mafia game lynching scum might make us think we caught scum out of cleverness but half the time townies make as many tells as scum and the game's more like a witchhunt.

Anyway, I'm pretty happy that the "miraculous" victory happened, as sorry as I feel for matt and wam.

Currently, the thing I am most disappointed in is the lack of epic flavor for the trully perfect victory.

I do think D2 was a major case of wrong place/wrong time, too. If either of the 2 power roles were on wam's back, we certainly would have lynched non-bussers first; look at my near-death...

But alas, gg fellow townies :)
