Role Madness: Never Before Seen Edition!

A.K.A. Role Madness Madness

Welcome to Role Madness Madness! RMM for short. It could also be Role Madness Mafia, Psychology Test Madness, Psychopath Magnet Mafia, and many more names.

Psychopaths:
Spoiler:
1. Adam H (3 mods = triple the fun!)
2. Vieto (subject to change)
3. lynx (never played a properly bastard game before) wam (Shotgun!)
4. Xenomortis (Position chosen at random; 4 is the perfect random number)
5. Chickenfish (seems like a simple enough game to ease myself back into mafia with...)
6. UniqueScreenname
7. FreezeBlade (more confusion? why the fuck not?)
8. Wingedocelot (my brain hurts already, I'm going to regret this)
9. Snark (This space intentionally left blank.)
10. Elmach (Eh, why not.)
11. KrO2
12. Christophoros (not played for a while)

Here's a list you can copypasta for your crazy analyses:
Adam H
Vieto
wam
Xenomortis
Chickenfish
UniqueScreenname
FreezeBlade
Wingedocelot
Snark
Elmach
KrO2
Christophoros

Here's an alphabetical list:
Adam H
Chickenfish
Christophoros
Elmach
FreezeBlade
KrO2
Snark
UniqueScreenname
Vieto
wam
Wingedocelot
Xenomortis

Game Rules: (The bunch!) (Read please)
Spoiler:
Generic Rules: (stolen from Goo Mafia, which stole from wam, who stole from mpolo, who stole from Lataro, who probably stole from Mafiascum.)
1. Do not talk about this game in any other threads besides this thread and in an appropriately named spoiler in the Gojoe Discussion thread. The official acronym of this game is RMM.
2. Do not post if you are not playing. If you do, I will modkil- wait.
3. Do not play to lose. If you do, I will modkill you. Twice.
4. Do not lurk. If you no longer want to or can't play, ask the mod ASAP for a replacement. I will prod you after 2 days of absence, and modkill you if you do not respond 2 days after that.
5. Votes, unvotes, and questions must be posted bolded, and on a new line. Otherwise, they will not be seen and not be counted.
6. You may not post in this thread after you are dead, with the exception of one "I'm dead" post that reveals no information. If you are lynched, you are dead when the hammer is cast, or the deadline passes. Else, you are dead when I say so.
7. Do not post game content at night. It is night when the deadline passes, or hammer is cast, whether I am online to say so or not. You may, however, post game content at non-conventional times, such as twilight, sunrise, tea time, etc.
8. My decision is final, and irrevocable. However, you can sway them with cookies, or money. The latter is highly prefered.

Game-Specific Rules:
None! (subject to change)
Fine, I’ll be nice and give some of them. The rest you must find out... somehow.
1. random.org decides all disputes. So sorry to all you Bayesians.
2. The thread title will be in the following format:
Role Madness Madness: [X for day/night]RL [left in day/night], [day/night]: [day/night name]
3. If you want to extend the day, you can request. If it is reasonable, a 2-day extension (no deadlines falling on weekends) will be given. Of course, it is almost never reasonable as it is your fault you didn’t go online. But you can still try!
4. Of course, if you want to shorten the day, you can request. It is almost always reasonable when someone requests this.
5. Chat teams have day chat and night chat. (subject to change)
6. Information related to information acquirement is given to every player at night.
7. CC all mods in PMs. Otherwise, one or two of us will feel left out. (*ahem* Vytron, t1mm01994)
[9. This is a no-reveal game.]
[10. When I say “No lie:” followed by something, I will not lie. For real. The entirety of Rule number 10 is guaranteed truthful.]
[14. I won’t reveal any rules without anyone asking about them.]

Setup Information:
1. Everything is randomized. Well, almost everything.
2. Your win condition, semi-win, power, semi-power, and information acquirement are assigned randomly and independently.
3. The game is not balanced. Well, at least I tried to balance it as much as possible.
4. This is a category D game. Beware of the mod lying. Beware of people lying. Beware of me lying in your role PM. Beware of sudden changes to rules, roles, and the like. Be aware that if you have read this rule, you should append “I know the secret rule” to your post.

More information will not come. (subject to change)

Role PMs are not out yet. Please wait. All PMs out. Please confirm that you have received your PM. Vytron, t1mm, activate your mod voices.

Yes. To clarify, you send in one target per power and semi-power (please indicate which is which) (unless your power/semi-power doesn't need a target) per night.

How do wins/semi-wins work? Does obtaining your semi-win necessarily end the game? Does obtaining your main win necessarily end the game?

My semi-win is Militant Atheist. I was told in my PM that this specific semi-win woudn't end the game. Anyone wish to help me lynch the mod?

Alternatively we can lynch Tim or Vytron like he wouldn't let us do in the Prequel. Any mod lynch counts. Mods do not get kicked out after the lynch so no reason to feel bad either.

Help a guy out?

Nope. The game will end. Athiests can't be trusted, they don't even believe in Mod.

I would like everyone to say whether they are town or independent. I am independent, but quite pro-town.

I'm town. I think it's more likely that Snark is telling the truth than it usually would be, simply because there are 3 mods. However, I was told the factions consist of town, mafia, cult, and survivor, but as it was expressly stated not to be a lie, I don't believe it.

Well, I assume we are joke-voting here in beginning of game, and watching how the last few times millitant athiest played out in mafia over here, I assumed you were joking. It seems almost like that role is a sort of inside joke 'round these parts, and I'd hate to feed into it.

Militant Atheist, I take it, is a "Lynch the mod", role?

Given the nature of this game, I think it's more than possible that one of the mods is not in fact a mod.

Just a thought.

OK we're not going to get anywhere if Snark is just going to derail us every time to try to get us to lynch the mod. I think we should lynch Snark or the mod. And keep in mind that the mod dying almost certainly WILL have a negative effect on most players.

I would tend to assume that killing the mod would have some sort of negative impact on "friendly" players.

Why would the mods reward us for lynching them? That would be stupid. And it also makes no sense for there to be no effect if they're lynched.

Right now I believe it is in my best interests to lynch you. I'm not trying to lead town other than to convince them that we have shared mutual interests.

As far as I can remember, we have never succeeded in lynching a mod. Therefore, we have never seen the effects of it. In Lataro's randomness, it only would have ended the game under certain conditions and did not mean that town couldn't win. Therefore, we have no proof that there will be adverse effects.

Honestly what I think will happen is the mod will not die, or Snark will somehow bastardly lose twenty dollars and my self respect. Neither of which affects town. So I don't care that much about going along with it.

I object mostly to the amount of chaos and confusion such a claim creates (which we can see from prequal). Chaos and disorder are exactly the types of conditions scum strive to encourage, as they distracts from actual scum-hunting.

As far as I can tell, lynching the mod is the equivalent of a no-lynch.

In addition, I have to agree with Adam, in the sense that given everyone has a semi-win condition, there is almost certainly at least one player with their semi-win as preventing the mod from being lynched, and given that the mods in this game are bastards, it is almost certainly a pro-town player.

In fact, I might speculate that Adam has such a semi-win condition. That, or he has insider information about what happens if a mod is lynched.
