What a mysterious return post... as far as I can tell your last post was wips ago... what are you thanking everyone for? For welcoming you back? Isn't that a bit presumptuous? (WELCOME BACK!!!!!) Or is this a thanks, goodbye? Because we have basements for that now you know...
So confused.

Ketchup incoming!

I don't know what to say. I'm back in the present, and my prediction that the posts should be fast-readable (since Time has ended) was - as my pridictions usually are - wrong. It looks like the OTT went from "commenting on content" to "provide content and comments". Great colorings (RelevationSpoiler being my favourite), great manips, great OTTrifications. Wow. Just... wow.

Ketchup:
So you wanna start a cargo cult in the OTT?
Another book I could reread... Two decades ago, I was quite fond of Dream Park. Today, I remember only the names Alex Griffin and Holly Frost, Zombies, the Haiavaha, Anti-Fire and a moonless night featuring a full moon.
---
Erhm - I don't want to rename myself to Grapevine. Hope that's okay.

No, you are usually the only one who sometimes posts like getting paid for.

Just thought I would bring a feature of the forums to light... it's possible to get the personal story of posts in the OTT for any given OTTer.
For example here is my story: search.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=a&sr=posts&t=101043&ch=-1&author=kieryn
For anyone else, just replace the author param with their username.
Here's a small selection of other frequent posters:

Hmm, so if A and B are more than 1,5 million km away killing a relative is faster than sending a signal by radio. That is assuming the 5s delay is distance-independant and no other delays are present. We'd have to test the distance dependency. I sure do hope you have enough relatives FOR SCIENCE!
I finally got the joke you were making with this post. I've been doing searches since then for the referenced comic, but can't find it. Mind giving me a link?

Alright, since I left I've: blitzed my semester finals, had state tests sprung on me, taken said tests, continued to search for the family dog, had a nervous breakdown over dog, and fallen ill with pnuemonia for five weeks of July. All in all, a pretty good summer ^_^.
Now, although I love you all dearly, I'm not altogether thrilled about the prospect of blitzing 1500 pages. So I won't.

Re: 1190: "Time"
Welcome back Helper! So glad to see you here again!
Really sorry about your dog; I don't blame you for having a nervous breakdown over losing a family molpy; i would too. On the other hand, getting pneumonia is taking it a bit too far. I'm glad you're well again though, and back here with us.
Yeah, lots has happened. Was there a wiki when you left? It's grown, and is a good starting point for catching your bearings. On the wiki, check out the Holy Books. Among them are the gospels of various blitzers; some are pretty well geared for ketchuppers and others are good for alternate perspectives. On top of that, there are other blitzers out there, some starting out just recently.
There's a lot of creativity going on now; music, drawing, poetry, ottification of anything that doesn't move fast enough. Still adding pages at a clip.
The sea is big.
@Valarya: Investigating the search feature (inspired by Kieryn), you can use this link to read almost all of AOC. It's just missing the prologue, which I'll post below.
Prologue the First
Prologue the Next: BLitzGirl's wisdom
Acts of the Clerics, complete
AOC complete should list future acts, since it is a search. I'll go back and add some keywords at some future point and change the search link; that way you won't see so many pink words. But you'll have toJose

Good luck with the interview, k.bookbinder! Knock 'em dead! (But not literally, you probably wouldn't get the job then.)

Umm, honestly I cant keep track of what happened... sad things happened to the OTC though : (
Thank you, thank you. No doggy, not even a whisper. Nothing from the pound, nothing from Craigslist, nothing from social media, just... nothing. My best hope is that one day we'll be driving around and he'll pop. We all know an alternate story is far more likely, though... ;_;.
Are these sad things simply that it ended? Or has more happened?

Welcome back, Pope Helper! Sorry about your wolpy.
I hope he shows up unexpectedly some Time.
Well...all I have to spray them with is semencoffeecancerbabiesonice, and I'm not sure that would improve the smell...

But you'll have toJoseSpoiler:
Heh, that's what I thought when I fell ill; I know I'm upset, but my emotions seems quite enough to attack, no need to involve my lungs.
There was a wiki when I left, although I'm sure it was merely a wiki-seed of what it wiki-is now.
I haven't even viewed The Other Frames of the OTC yet 0_0.

Re: 1190: "Time"
Treeish recording of a treeish poem/song, yappobiscuits and BlitzGirl! I've forgotten what else I wanted to comment on. Oh, a lot was posted while I was writing this! Helper is back! Randallbot Set, hehehe
I'm actually in the process of writing two song ottifications, but then today another song came up on my iPod and I realised a couple of lines at the beginning worked unchanged, so I ottified it quickly. It could do with some polishing (I'd prefer to have the same chorusy bit all the way through, but I have about seven ideas for that and I wanted to use at least two of them), but I ought to post something before I get sent to the basement. It's another K's Choice one, but going by the reception the original song gets at concerts, I think it might have been on the radio and reasonably well-known, so perhaps more people will be able to read the ottification with the tune in their heads. The ottification is based on the thousand-lifetimes conversation, with a hint of the previous conversation about turning back. And then it abruptly jumps to things that I just saw Helper doesn't know about yet, so he shouldn't read this, and those things are
Butterflies and More
An ottification of 'Butterflies Instead' by K's Choice
I leave my home, and leave my shore
and learn of butterflies and more.
The beauty of their colored wings,
the trees4, the grass and pretty4 things,
and exploration makes more seaish my existence.
Eventually, when everyone else is done with OTColorisations, I'll get around to doing the one I have an idea for. They're more difficult to do, because I can only really make progress while in front of my own computer. I guess I could do some on my iPad while on the bus, but the idea I have involves photos which aren't on the iPad.
Oh, you know what? This other ottification that I haven't touched for five days actually looks fairly finished, in comparison. Here's a song I'm pretty sure is well-known, because I first heard about it on the radio myself.
It is all about the origin of the word 'molpy' (edit: so this might be interesting to Helper, though it contains mild spoilers regarding location speculation, mentioned in the next spoiler.) It is best read in a non-rhotic accent where /ɪ/ sounds like a short version of /i/, like it does in Australian English.
(some day, after I learn phonetics properly, I will make a rhyming dictionary which points out the features an accent must have for the rhymes to work, and all poems from then on will have an accent key associated with them.)
Molpy
an ottification of Zombie, by The Cranberries
I think that pixel's busted;
is that mustard, movin'?
Let's compare it:
That, right there, it's red,
and that's gone to green.
It must be a compy;
let's ENHANCE! And we'll see,
Like I said, like I said
there's no error!
But it could be a mole, from its hole, on a stroll.
Let's agree, option three: a chimera!
Esteemed disappearing pope Helper, I am glad you're better and sad you were worse and I think you should go blitz the OTC if you're not going to blitz the thread.
