Thank you, thank you. No doggy, not even a whisper. Nothing from the pound, nothing from Craigslist, nothing from social media, just... nothing. My best hope is that one day we'll be driving around and he'll pop. We all know an alternate story is far more likely, though... ;_;.

*snip*.

Dont get to down, you would be amazed at what can happen *story time*

A few years back one of my doggies ran away, she was a husky mix, we searched high and low around our area (read as 20sq miles) after a week still nothing. We (my GF at the time and me) went to the pound 3 times a day, and all that. MANY (read as 4) weeks later we get a call. From a vet in Fairbanks, AK. (see map) Her poor feet were all cut up, and she had lost a good 4 pounds (she needed to go on a diet anyway) from all the walking. Turns out our trouble maker had been mooching off of this lady and her dogs for 2 weeks, coming by around 9pm and eating a bowl of food and then leaving early in the morning. The lady had no clue were she was going everyday but she was getting worried about her feet since they were getting raw, from all the walking she was doing everyday. Well her feet started to bleed so she took her to the vet and the vet just so happened to see out lost dog post on Craigslist that morning and so called us.

Now the funny thing is her parents have a cabin near (read as 25miles) were the lady lived. Our little trouble maker was looking for us there! lol. We had skipped going out there for the month because we where looking for her roughly 300 miles away!

But my main point is dont give up! Keep posting, you never know who might see your post and then your dog.

Sadly, we lost our molpy back in 5-month... Even so, we live in a town with plenty of 'grandma-who-is-happy-to-feed-20-strays-per-day' types, so I'm still holding out hope...

Wowterfull ottification Yappo. Most OTTificated songs I do not have on my MP3 player, but Dark Passion Play is there. My PC is to far away to use the Youtubes comfortably with the headphones I have and it would just be weird to play it aloud
An OTTification is always best appreciated with the music it was written to.

Yay, thanks  Loved your Evanescence ottification too!

Thank you, @BlitzGirl, @yappobiscuits, and @Latent22 for "Rest With Me Here". It was a wistfully wowterful experience, of words, song, and condensed version of the OTC. As I watched and listened, I realised that one day I need to find time to watch through the whole OTC from beginning to end as a single event rather than as the frame-by-frame real-time experience that I lived through. But watching and listening to "Rest With Me Here" evoked memories and emotions that highlighted for me the fact that, even though I have been mostly only an observer, I still FEEL part of this community and that I was WITH y'all as it all happened.

Thank you.

And thank YOU for the lovely comment!

Now, although I love you all dearly, I'm not altogether thrilled about the prospect of blitzing 1500 pages. So I won't.
So, what's been up?

OMR, Helper! Welcome back! Best of luck with your poor wolpy :(

Double thanks! Hmm, BlitzBiscuits maybe? :P. Anyway, that song isn't your typical Nightwish song, they're usually symphonic metal. But here's another more along the lines of The Islander to get you started!

By "Thanks", I meant a general thank you for making the journey that the OTC and OTT the awesome adventure that it has been. Very shortly, I will be heading off into the middle of a high desert for about two weeks for my own adventure, and I am tempted to find some place to start building sandcastles (which is really hard to do with an alkali hard-pan) and see if anyone says "I don't understand what the sea is doing" or brings around a tebuchet. :D

Prolly time to dump him then.

On the other hand - greetings from Manchester for a few days. Can't get up to the Lakes, but thinking about Yappobiscuits and Morris men and other OTT sidetracks.

Blitzgirl and Yappo, I just want to thank you two. I have The Timewaiter and Rest With Me Here (besides WeLoveTheOTT2) on all the time, and you two really have a synergy, you get to me. Just Wowterful.

If we consider computer languages, especially Lisp, the word order usually is, as a way of speaking, VSO: first you use the command (the "action"), then you specify where this action will be performed (the subject) and then you add everything else you might have. But GLR might have hacked most of it together with Perl.

Well if it's an object-oriented language then it would be SVO you.get(me, sandwich). Wait, shouldn't it be called a subject-oriented language then?

If we think in reverse polish terms, OSV would be more natural.

Rare message from the present due to slowness in acknowledging postal success: I never knew there were Morris ladies. I'm kinda freaked out by this.

Right..."misplaced."

As in, created a user script to hide it away in the secret vault behind the box of S&Ms. The one with the moat full of molpygators. And the tripwire attached to the thwapping sticks. (But not the secret vault behind the box of rope, that's where I've been hiding all the ice cream) (Also not the secret vault under the comfy chair, that's where all the correct horse battery staples live.) (Also not the secret vault next to the trebuchet, that's where the entrance to the super secret secret vault is)
