Since the pagepope prefers puzzles, I'll plug that I just added a "Puzzles" section to the sad riverish Games page on the wiki where you can now pick up some pastpuzzles! (Mostly sudoku right now. Can anyone remember if there were other puzzles posted on the OTT suitable for that page? Firefox, self-contained images (not text-based or spread over multiple posts).

@Timborme - thanks for the cpw update. Darn, I thought we were still gonna beat them. :(
I liked hearing about the thinning of the creative herd, or whatever less offensive thing I could have said. I think some might have been on the edge of staying during the madness, like myself. I wonder who else was a close stay or a close loss.

ggh wrote:And, my girl's over 11kg now, so I imagine if I was there, I could happily truthfully remark on how small your wee boy is.
*looks up yahoo answer* 24lbs...? I don't know when babies weigh what, but your girl is 10 mips ahead. My boy is 14lbs... no comments, please. lol. I think we're both probably fine.

That's unfortunate. :( Yeah, time to bump up the font-sizes.

Sadly enough, I find that I am slowly becoming more and more a character outside of the OTT myself. I never have enough time to even skim, let alone ketchup!
Hopefully I'll start having the time to read more than the most recent page or two at some point.

She's real, the tuition is real, but yeah, I'd have thought she was outside the range for swingsets. OTOH, we had an exciting nerf battle in the library basement last year, so maybe it's just perception.

I think on a normal thread, the madness would be just a fun diversion. But here, it probably did cost us some folks, lots to read, and all in what's practically another language. But I can see how giving the mods some play time is fun for them too. Their workload went up significantly too.
But yes, OTTer madness is the best.

My original blitz didn't start until after the Madness, but from a blitzing perspective, it was both amusing and puzzling to read the response to it by other OTTers in the pastposts.

@yappo: sure thing.

What kind of person stocks water when they don't need to?

DINOS: "Maybe we should call you redundant!"
KITTY: "Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!"

ETA and another stealth ninja update (literally and figuratively) And I just noticed that I've been on the forum for bit over a Time longer than BlitzGirl 8-)

ETA just spent a while trying to figure out why my newpixbot timer wasn't showing after I force an ONG for testing, before realising that I'm testing after the slowing so there's longpix so of course newpixbots have already done their thing :P

Treeish, BlitzGirl! I got it, got stuck a couple of times but then worked it out. I have a question--did you do that on your own, or did you use a crossword-generating site? I started a crossword about a mip ago, but I wanted to try making it myself. But it took more than one step, and as I mentioned before, I have a hard time finishing things that have more than one step. In fact, my computer and brain are littered with past presents I started and never finished. :(

I started a crossword about a mip ago, but I wanted to try making it myself. But it took more than one step, and as I mentioned before, I have a hard time finishing things that have more than one step. In fact, my computer and brain are littered with past presents I started and never finished. :(

On my own - rough draft of word placement on grid paper, actual grid in excel, numbers and clues added in Photoshop. :)

The same sort of person who spends an entire wip writing, orchestrating, recording and producing an epic symphonic rock song just to celebrate getting a certain number of posts... i.e. a perfectly normal and sane OTTer :P
