Oh believe me, you will notice. They filter a lot of things, and I suspect they'll start with stuff that we haven't thought of yet. You may not notice at first, but after the third person in a row makes the same odd word replacement, it should become obvious.

A pipe to the present! I... I think I found a way to get out a little early, on NP1758. I'll try to ketchup to the present shortly. I think I'll try this schizoblitzing thing out, at least for the RECKONING, whenever that starts.

The rhyme sceme here is madness, I'd watch the video if you're going to read this

Snailpies from The Javascript's album Wolpy Errors.

prickly, take it slow,
Show me you're alive, cause life's just not a gift from god

Odd saying, I pray that comfy armchairs show the perfect wrath
'Cause candy makes all man show off what they wish they hath,
Time is not a play its what we make of the OTTers we love,

Molpies see benefits,
The beauty in every pix
Oh, why, why, why, why, oh, why,
Are you quick to click?

She questions seas and trees, goddamn you're cat Lucky,
I'm sick of addicting games
Should we not have a meetup?
'Cause life here in Outside has escaped
All the chirpies above
Time's what we make of those OTTers we love

Molpies see benefits,
The beauty in every pix
Oh, why, why, why, why, oh, why,
Are you quick to click?

Baby maybe, I post too rare
Oh hey I wonder what is through here?
Molpies see benefits,
The beauty in every pix

Cue watches when she runs,
and Petite is the gun,
She rides in from the flood,
That is just like Petite
Never gives up, never lets me dare stop,
I wanna pay her back,
But love is nothing you can tax

We aren't popular by any means,
But I feel we won the lottery that day,
The sea swallowed the world,
And I cried as castles made of sand,
slipped not to water's icy hand,
They dried away past voldeframe.
A newpix comes you'll wake unfold,
Smile when you hear the ONGchime,
the ONGchime,
the ONGchime,
the ONGchime

Molpies see benefits,
The beauty in every pix
Oh, why, why, why, why, oh, why,
Are you quick to click?

Baby maybe, I post too rare
Oh hey I wonder what is through here?
Molpies see benefits,
The beauty in every pix

Molpies see benefits,
The beauty in every pix

So... I'm a lot closer to the Present than I was earlier toxip. That is more because I want to experience the RECKONING live with the OTT again, instead of delayed like I otherwise would have. Even though the quotes from the previous RECKONING have been preserved, the original content is forever different than it was when first posted, and I feel like a lot has been missed. I chose NP1758 as my near-present-start-point due to the fact that this is the location of my first signpost since NP1340. I know that I have missed a seaish (and certainly wowterful) 358 NewPages; I will return and Blitz them once I have ketchupped to the present, in a semi-schizoblitz attempt. At this point, I plan to return to the Past entirely at the conclusion of the RECKONING, to minimize the impact of my schizoblitz.

Anyway... here are a couple PastPost responses from the reaction to my return on NP1758:

AluisioASG wrote:Welcome back, macraw83.
A thousand timeframes will pass by, and then another thousand timeframes, and the Cardinal Tempus Viator will still not have ketched up.

I'm a bit lost on this... isn't BlitzGirl the Cardinal Tempus Viator? And isn't she in the Present?

BlitzGirl wrote:Hurray, it's macraw83! Bboz dr yndn!
It's wowterful to hear from you again. :D

Last we heard of your blitzing, you were at the original cairn... I was afraid you'd run afoul of Lucky...Image

Time to do some sigcouragement!

I have appreciated all the sigcouragement, both recent and long ago. When I have had the time to spend with the OTT, it has reminded me that there is a Present worth Blitzing to.

Thanks, Jose! I look forward to reading all of the Acts of the Clerics once I have finished Blitzing, which I still hope to be relatively soon.

What, has "dip" become the typical OTTish replacement for the Heretical "day"? That is somewhat disappointing. I've been sold on "xip" ever since it was first proposed, so therefore I reject your standards in support of my own (ni ni ni chirping mustard molpy grapevines and all that)

I believe I see ED's strategy... if we go a little pre-Mad, maybe the Madness won't be such a shock when it comes.

But I also think we need to be careful about getting too sreee and Madnessing words willy-nilly. Think of the future blitzers!

I found a perfect solution how to continue ketching up the attachments without importing the Madnessness into the past and without making too much change in the code. But I won't have time for it in the next 10 hours. Reketchup temporarily stopped.

Ooh, you will know. Maybe only from the different rendering of the quotes.

Howéver, ţhere is a símple metħod to preśerve communıcations: sałt yōur texť. According to the Mods the madness doesn't work in the OTT. Last yip the word Time was replaced everywhen. Even on urls. This made them not work.
Maynottobe they fixxxed it now-when too not work on urls for the sake of FREEDOM
I wish so, for me would feel leaved out if we had no madnesses here-place.
Just in crate I concur that we should make our own madnesses bereason it would nottobe unhamplish if we'd hit out.

Postby mrob27 » Fri Mar 21, 2014 10:08 am UTC

Ahoy to all our mates up then in th' future! Cap'n Mrob27 been busy sailin' on th' Replay viewer, 'n I've be bakin' cookies uh, I mean

Image

uh, ... Arrr! so here's th' latest bit 'o me journal...

From th' The Hour Sea-Voyage Journal 'o First Mate Timborme

NP1426: 17 cookies per second. @AluisioASG has created an Otter Lands map, 'n begun writin' some fiction that takes place thar. Yo Ho Ho!

NP1427: A message that inspired Cap'n mrob to be off on th' Blitz. 'n, 270 CPS!

NP1428: Cap'n Mrob27 be askin' what to brin' on his upcomin' journey. I be tempted to shout "brainslug repellant" but I don't wanna change me own timeline. Aye! That, or maybe a few grandmas.

NP1429: Oooh, GoldenCookiesBot! Ye be me new best bucko.

NP1430: @HES be 'bout to call Blitzerus Annoyus. 'n... Arrr! 35MC/sec!

NP1431: Th' "Other Cap'n Mrob" be pre-chargin' th' GALLEON. (Thar be no "other First Mate Timborme" because 'tis was before I joined Cap'n Mrob27 on his voyage.)

NP1432: I've be singin', If it doesn't have a tail, 'tis not a parrot. 'Tis a grape! @pelrigg's Rosetta story be wowterful, 'n I'm up to 143MC/sec!

NP1433: @Valarya be at NP1412 'n just enterin' th' anger stage. I guess I'll walk the plank some 'o me ice cream. Or maybe a few billion cookies.

NP1434: Th' Beanie ONGs be proceedin' quite nicely. Beanette 'n Amtoo be married!
Th' other Cap'n Mrob27 takes off. I enlisted th' bots to help wit' cookie minin', to prevent them from crossin' our timelines. 'n I just passed 1.21 giga-cookies per second!

NP1435: Avast, Thar, chirpingmustard.com, that sounds familiar. :D

NP1436: Sandcastle Builder be playable. Perhaps 'tis gunna save us. But... I need to buy a few more The Hour Machines to reach 100!

NP1437: SB gets better every nopix, 'n OTTer domain discussion continues. Perhaps onetruethre.ad or molpi.es?

NP1438: Th' OTT has surpassed th' "count to a million" thread!

Th' Grandmapocalypse be startin' again, I'd better get back to me... Sandcastle Builder, yo-ho-ho that's what I'll be doin'.

  — First Mate Timborme :)

Appendix by Cap'n Mrob27

As ye can spy wit' ye eye, our @Timborme been a wee preoccupied. Arrr! But I guess th' c**kies be a slight improvement over all them Newpages 'o Message-"T▒▒ E▒▒" Stress Disorder. Some notes on recent happenin's in th' Present...

@ggh 'n I been exchangin' Epilogue ideas by message in a bottle. I broke me own rules in 'tis message, normally I try not to present ideas or theories that have almost certainly be discussed in th' hundreds 'o Newpages that I have yet to Blitz, but me set the sails on th' Replay viewer made me think 'bout it.
I'm glad ye all like me Replay Viewer. @AluisioASG kindly provided a datafile 'n code that gunna allow me to add me own treasure chest 'o all 3101 known hashes, 'n extra efficiently. Thanks! Image
ergman wrote:Now Outsiders who care to can get a taste 'o what it was like to wait fer it. Aye! Maybe ye message 'tis on th' xkcd reddit, we might gain some converts.

Splendid idea, but I'm reluctant to
  • Advertise me own thin' (it looks like a conflict 'o interest)
  • Brin' th' "Reddit effect" upon @mscha's server (as I haven't finished integratin' th' self-contained hash index)
Perhaps ye or another redditor could figure out which 'o th' thousands 'o threads in th' xkcd subreddit 'tis belongs in  'n definitely message it, if ye think it would be okay wit' @mscha...
yappobiscuits wrote:I think we all sync up 'n have a live re-watch startin' on th' Timeiversary, presumin' GLR doesn't release a sequel...

Oh, ye spotted me hidden agenda (exploitin' Finagle's/Murphey's/Sod's law to ensure that The Hour gunna have a sequel... )

ucim wrote:Yo Ho Ho illumination 'o th' Holy Books! ...

Thanks, ye deserve it. That chapter was molpish.

Alas, server 503 barnacles, a pair dips in a row. I be back to keepin' seven Newpages open at once.

azule wrote:Alright. Just to note, I think a cachin' system would reduce on-demand issues. ...

Yes, ye're right, 'n I don't remember now how I got ye idea (which was to spy wit' ye eye how much 'tis be happenin') mixed up wit' th' idea 'o settin' up an ЯOЯЯIM TTO... Arrr! Th' main challenge to me regardin' th' quotes, be how to figure out which message be bein' quoted in a given quote. Regular expressions be not quite up to th' task.

balthasar__s wrote:'n do we be knowin' how First Mate Timborme, Nopixbot, 'n Imagebot look like?

I haven't actually resolved that, 'n th' icons I have used so far be just placeholders. I've just be usin' BlitzGirl's wee bots Image, Image (intended fer Sandcastle Builder) 'n generic smileys :) :x fer First Mate Timborme. I think First Mate Timborme would have his own avatar, kind 'o like some 'o th' other OTTer avatars. Th' bots look different, perhaps like some 'o th' Daniel Mróz drawin's fer Lem's Cyberiada. Perhaps I'll get inspired someday 'n make wee GIFs fer them.

I encourage y'all to vote in th' OTTscars, whether or not ye voted in th' first round. I'm also plannin' to visit th' Present fer th' festivities :D

  — Cap'n Mrob27 Image

P.S. Th' Madness be approachin', or may have already hit. I be testin' some new translation modules fer th' GALLEON that might help... or perhaps just makes thin's a wee madder. We'll spy wit' ye eye!

Retro-edit for Blitzers:

In anticipation of the upcoming Madness I was applying my own pirate filter software to modify my posts.

If you think the original text should
be added here (maybe in a spoiler) let me know!

Also, I updated my avatar to reflect the pirate theme:

No. I have not been paying attention.
What Happened?

I have a sig now which contains a link to the beginning of that story.

(Okay, this is my 19th post, so just a few OTTers will see it. But it's a beginning. :))
