Interesting...the large Xs might be a disassembled survey tower?

Also, that dizzysnake to their right is obviously a loopist.

A different kind of loopist, most likely, but a loopist nonetheless.
In a comically tragic turn of events, Addams didn't die. You can help her here.

Does the basement ever end?

Just wanted to let you know: There is a new Constellation of Time 5.

The data for this is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mindboggingly big it is. I mean you may think the last PowerPoint slideshow you made is big, but that's just peanuts to the Constellations. Listen ...

Erm... yes ... whatever. Truth is, it became so complex that the visualization is a bit messy at this point. It is almost impossible to fit all the datapoints in an image and still retain readability. I've made a huge version of it, because anything else just does not cut it anyway. So here it is: Enjoy.

The users per dip are up too from barely 20 a day to almost 50. Those are good times on the OTT. :D

ETA: The Reckoning is annoying. I'll be back when it is over.

catch ya on the flip side, mon!
monI expect the main problem to be that with a power difference like between the mods and us there is very little teasing possible before it should be considered bullying. The madness falls in the category of bullying, were it not for the fact that it makes me laugh.

Ronald: The current iteration of the Madness filters all instances of "xkcd," so anything with that in the link gets mustarded, including fora attachments like HES's smiley, and the newpix, which get double-filtered with "xkcd" and "comics" in their urls. Only original OTT posts are safe: quotes, sigs, searches, previews, etc. get mangled.

Molpy up!
Yay, I traveled in Time at night! I remember when I was younger, I didn't like DST because I missed the skipped hourH and felt comy? for several days. But now, when my coma schedule is completely irregular (and feeling comy is normal to me), I barely notice.

I see, that my signature got affected by the filters even more in the meantime, as expected.

We are so Lucky, that the OTT original posts are protected by the mysterious holy shield. I guess I would find it annoying very soon too without the protection. But since it only affects the quotes, previews and sigs in the OTT, I find it hilarious. I also like that the effect is gaining its strength gradually. Yesterdip this Time, one would hardly notice that something is changing the posts but now after 24 nopixes, it's really hard to read the affected texts, although it's still not impossible, one can get used to it. But I understand that some people are annoyed by this. I hope mscha will return too, I'm so sorry that it's making him sad!

Script-Vendor Update

I have made th' first 'o th' promised changes to We Love BANA-na-Yada. I have removed all th' recursive text-scannin', 'n actions triggered by DOMNodeInserted 'n DOMCharacterDataModified events, 'n instead I now scan th' page fer profiles 'n insert a title before whatever title be thar, if any. 'Tis change makes it wörk on HTML generated before ye beginnin' 'o BananaMadness.
It no longer replaces lone I love BANANAS lines in th' postys, thus if ye update, ye boldface words in 'tis paragraph gunna no longer be changed to a Boom-de-Yada verse.
I now lëave ye existin' title, if any, in place (unless it be th' original 'I love BANANAS', which I suppose we've gotten bored 'o). 'Tis means that users who already have a pre-defined title, such as @azule 'n @SBN, gunna still have their true title displayed, 'n th' temporary BANANÄ-Madness titles gunna also be displayed, 'til our benevolent overlords choose to undo that wee wee bit 'o craziness. Here be a Before-'n-After comparison:

Thar be a pair checkboxes at th' bottom:

Th' first option makes it choose a random verse each tîme. Th' second option gunna be fer choosin' a verse based on th' username, which be still pendin'. Fer now I just wanna make sure 'tis works. Been tested it on HTML downloaded prior to Mod Madness 2014, 'n tested it wit' ye current Madness (fer ye record, th' BANANÄ-title be "I love BANANANANANANANA DEM")
To install or reinstall, as always th' URL be Cap'n mrob.com/time/scripts-beta/we-love-banana-yada.user.js (but without th' "Cap'n", yarrrr.)
To inspect ye source code, ye can check out me github page.

Some replies (but a seaish amount 'o ketchup remains):

I certainly embrace ye Madness! 'Tis pynkness be a extra molpish thin' indeed, ARRrrr! Perhaps I'll petition ye great Pynk Powers That Be to join ye group-o-pynkness :P

Molpish manips @HES!

Cap'n Mrob, how can I choose a different background colour fer sigs? I can't deal wit' that green.

Jolly point, ARRrrr! I'll look into that when Been gotten ye I Love BANA-na-Yada wörkin' again. If ye don't mind specifyin' a colour as e.g. 'FF00BF' or a standard HTML colour moniker like 'DeepPink', then we could have a text input in th' options area. Aye, ARRrrr! Likewise fer Spoiler-Opener 'n Newpix Converter, which also use colour highlightin'.

I totally agree with Mscha. When last madness happened I didn't look again here for 2 or 3 wips (maybe more).

Thanks for the encouraging PM's, y'all! I won't reply to them individually, as PMs are affected by the Madness, but I will be back, and start ketching up from NP1731, once things are back to (relative) normality.

Oh, and...

Earthling on Mars - Wowterful Dark Lord!

I hope the amoeba isn't made by Timex!

balthasar - Do those smileys need to be wired in series, or in parallel? Of course, with animations on, some of them seem to be wired just by themselves. Is that why they are being loaded into the paddywagon?

I'll just pretend it's the madnessing that did that. You'd never stoop to wordplay, we all know that!

Awesomeful - like unto the sea! And whoa - I didn't expect to show up so prominently.

The SilentOngs are treeishly wowterful - I'm wondering however why the Cuegan didn't comment on (or perhaps notice) the {sparking?} that was going on as they approached the cave. If the tree is neat, the sparking ought to have been something.

@mscha - we all eagerly await your return. We'll [sorry Minim]. Back when I was just a Pope In Training, I encountered the first madnessing, and hopped and skipped through it (yes, I also found it annoying). And the OTT has in the past been filled with tons of lots of other stuff (some of which have become curse words) that got treeified and absorbed into the culture. We will eat the madnessing just like we assimilate everything else. For without darkness, there can be no light, and without silence, there can be no song.

@Azrael - thanks for stopping in with your kind words.

We should all once again contemplate upon the Prayer of BlitzGirl. It applies in so many different ways and should never be forgotten.

And speaking of things to not forget, tomorrow is the HolyDix of RobIrr, 7 Innocence! The first known fossil BlitzGirl is celebrated on that dix; it is the canonical point in Time where three of the major forces of the OTT diverged: ketchup, condiment, and Blitz. So raise a glass of molpyberry wine to RobIrr, BlitzGirl the Primordial.

Thanks for the comments on the Dark Lord, yappo, ggh (I think that was referring to TDL), BlitzGirl, AluisioASG (what does Rosettish mean again?), karhell, and Jose.
