Yay, hooray! Time won the Hugo! So happy. This justifies my entire existence! <dances for joy> Congratulations, GLR!

Edit to add decree: Loved last page's decree so I'm continuing it. What would Time be like if it were different?

BlitzGirl wrote:I always wondered what it would be like if Time really did loop around newpix 1000 as we thought it might. Would the Loopists have taken over the OTT? Would we be a Loopist society todip?]

We would spend our newpix wondering whether the loop would be slightly altered this time. Just slightly different. Just a line moved a few pixels, a hand in a different position. Because the hashes would have kept changing.
Mscha's differential images would be included with every newpix. The newpixbot would have a diffpixbot child that posts the differential images after someone (or somebot) posts the newpix.
GLR would not have been shocked by the amount of work. He would have loved our dedication just as much as He does now, with the difference that he would be more willing to throw us a bone because the original 1k or 1ki wouldn't have been such a work. After a few cycles He would have changed something. Next NP He would have changed that one a bit more. A new story would unfold. We would rejoice.

Seems perfect, no? It isn't. The magnificence of the Time story would not have existed. The beauty of the Zanclean Flood story would be lost. We would not know it, but much beauty would not have existed.

Wow. So Hugo. Many congrats. Such honor.

Sorry, I can't find the right words that would describe how seaish achievement this is. Congratulations, Randall "GLR" Munroe! And I loved the random words part. (I'm only imagining the molpishness of it, if it were actual OTTish words that Outsiders wouldn't even understand. )

I'm going to try writing my posts in RHTF so you can see what they look like to me... and because it's hard for me to stop typing in RHTF :D

<q.BlitzGirl:[WHAT RIVER?] There are two rivers[2|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruhr_(river)], [1|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhine] in Europe quite close to the Sustainable University.:>
I never understood what this "Sustainable University" thing is -- some kind of inside joke, or a metaphor? Anyway, I want to try to post $RELATED$ pictures (I've figured out how to crop!) and hope some OTTers will figure out where I am.

<q.balthasar_s:I noticed this when I downloaded the latest ott-snowclones.txt. But I didn't mention it because I waited to see if someone will notice it too. The ott-snowclones.txt said that some memes should be ignored by :azule: and :Link:. I'm not a Link or azule but I ignored them anyway. [...]:>
Those "ignore this" comments can be ignored now. There were a few Japanese-related memes that I added as part of writing the Morobu story, but at this point you've seen them (or most of them, I think) so nothing is being spoiled.

 Oh, thanks. Of course. I knew I should be looking for AM but apparently, "am" and "pm" looks almost the same in [code]. And yeah, with 24-hour formatH this wouldn't have happened. :P

H Which should be less hereticalh than am/pm, since it's used nowadays in TimeplaceF
h But of course still heretical, since measuring Time in newpix rather in hours is the correct way

In other news, I lost the tabs I was saving to remind me of things I wanted to reketchup. I do remember I wanted to mention I was still enjoying the click and drag version of Time, there was a yapposong I had rediscovered, and ... well ... other stuff.

SpeechONG!
Cory

(I hope it's correct this time. I've made myself an Excel table that highlights current SpeechONG.)
Time. The final frontier. These are the voyages of Cueball and Megan. Its continuing mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before.

Oops I forgot this post re NP 2068 in another tab:

Wow! That last page sure was chock-full of treeish movie mashups! Good job y'all! And to Patzer for his song!

I also think it's both. We seemed to have switched to more visual OTTifications as opposed to verbal, and I've noticed that the category pages on the Wiki aren't updated as often as it once was. I did a bit with the Games page during my Blitz, but I know I missed a few there.

Another AotC! I'll get to that within a xip or two, I'm still working on re-Blitzing that series again.

As the person who gave their name to the term, I think HES's definition is closer. My coma pattern is often actually very consistent (usually nocturnal-ish). It just never fits in with everymolpy else's.
