I managed to pack and move everything, bit now I have nowhere to put it. Is there any room in the basement?

I'm sure there is. The OTT seems to have a particularly seaish basement.

For decree: You could ask Schrödinger's Gingercat if there's any extra room in xer box.

Phew ! Molpy back again !

A 3 wip long home invasion by RELATED people (in-laws- ALL of them - in quick succession) left me stranded about 25NP ago...

So without further ado, and off the top of my head (forgot to take notes >.<) :
Congratulations, Macraw for reaching the present !
Condoleances, Ergman.
Congratulations, HES and Minim for your degrees.
And congratulations to GLR for the Hugo !

(These are the main events I remember. Any left-outage is purely unintentional and the result of a case of terminal absent-mindedness. Everything has been read, and everything has been appreciated.)

And a box by decree.

True. That's the point of the comic (which has a few of its own unexplained terms), I really think you should have. It was completely appropriate. Don't let the detractors win. Also, wasn't it 2013?
BlitzGLR wrote:I added a more general GLRish version instead.

Edit shortly afterwards: Still got interpreted as OTTish. Alas.
Really? I'm gonna check that out soon, but that sounds sad. FutureNote: Former OTTers are the worst. They're the most paranoid. I didn't understand any of that F1 and sports references but no one said it was inappropriate. I was fine with all the references, btw.

BlitzGLR wrote:I was sillywordizing long before the dawn of Time, so that tendency must have come pre-installed, before my OTTerdom.
I think that a lot of us brought with us our tendencies (such as yours stated) and within the community that developed we share and infect each other with happy pills. I mean, with things we do. So, they're not OTTish, except that we're OTTers, otherwise they're BlitzGirlish and azulish and HESish and ImSorryYouDidntGetMentionedish.

Knowing Randall, he won't ever discuss "Time" with anyone at all, regardless of how many awards we throw at him. Remember, this is a guy who's so quiet online that a single blog update is a flurry of activity from him.

lmjb1964 wrote:As far as awards for Randall, even if he didn't discuss them, he might still like having them. If anyone knows of something to nominate him for, let us know.

Well, if anyone here is a member of Worldcon, they could try to nominate Time for the Hugo for Best Graphic Story, a fairly new category (won 3 times straight by Girl Genius). But I'd say it's probably a real long shot, since we don't yet know to what extent there is a story: whether Time is just rambling, or some post-apocalyptic SF story, or The World's Longest Shaggy Dog Joke.

Wow, I didn't know I was the first OTTer to suggest GLR be nominated for an award (if you read my quote from that time, I guess that is obvious) Very glad to see xim get this very deserved award!

I wonder if I was the start of a "Butterfly effect" chain reaction:
I ask the question, jjjdavidson replies and changes his sig, some people see it and nominate him, putting him in the running (there were only 36 total nominations for Time... 9 fewer and it wouldn't have been considered), and so on...

(It's silly of course but It's fun just to think)

Aah! MTA mustard: I've hit my data cap, so evening-only wifi OTTing this weepend.

Just saw Johnny Marr live. Tried checking the wiki for Smiths OTTies, but it's uncooperative on MTAs. Have any been done?

I don't recall any Smiths ottifications, and it doesn't look like there are any in the OTW list.

SAVE THE OTTER, SAVE THE WORLD

Postby Link » Sat Aug 30, 2014 3:02 am UTC

It's now three and a half newpix further into the mornip than the molpy-down Time I've been on for most of the past wips, and I already considered myself yappocised with that coma schedule. Also, university starts next wip. Thankfully, the schedule is molpish, because deyappocising by over 5 newpix in two dips would be a massive steambottle.

So yeah, I should molpy down.

Why am I not acoma?

Oh, for Randall's sake, Link, brush your ch*rping teeth and drag yourself to bed!

Oh, great, now you're starting to talk to yourself. Yep, you're going mad. Gazebo. Ointment. No, that's too sane; you've already passed that line. Facsimile. Brisance. Coagulopathy. Scarabaeoidea. Nope, you're past that as well. Zxxbrxl. Llngth'prwth. Ffffffnngth! [The sound of a slightly ominous shade of iridescent crimson]. Sëëg'uulkt. [The last cry of a trillion souls whose universe is torn asunder by dark forces from the Great Beyond]. Yeeeiyilnaghraa. Rtvgadn. [A kitten softly mewling]. Image That's more like it.

I started reading a Late-Victorian Zombie Steampunk novel set in very early Seattle. It was strange.

But, as they say, truth is stranger than fiction.
