The process that resulted in a bsta started on np2490.

But you would have to go back further, at least to my Homestuck OTTification (OTT:2480:37), or my earlier post OTT:2477:11 bringing Homestuck back into the OTT consciousness, but all of that is because I originally started reading Homestuck because of @ChronosDragon at OTT:871:35 (also mentioned by @Flado and @gement on NP1320).
CD foreshadowed @balthasar_s by starting a creative effort involving frames with captions, which he said was inspired by HomeStuck and the OTT: see OTT:1284:22. He explicitly solicited frames and/or ideas from the OTT community, and had set up a website for submissions. I guess it didn't go very far, and the link doesn't work now.

Oh, yeah, decree…

Oh ch*rp would you look at that. I went and fell in the basement again. I got all busy making music for plays again.

Also things are happening in the Iron SeaWolpy camp - for any Dutch OTTers who want to see us, we're playing our first ever overseas gig at Fuizenfest in Riel, near Tilburg on the 30th Sept! But as excited as I am for the gig, I'm even more excited about the fact I get to go to the Efteling while we're there :P

Just quickly blitzed to the present, but not going to reply to much just so I can get back to the present quicker…

Oh dear, I see just after I was last here, y'all went and made a new and rather rude OTTish word… not only does "mustardbusting" look a little like… that, it's also rather fitting, I mean, if you think of "busting your mustard" - no, let's not go there…

Interesting to learn Rakhal's birthdip coincides with the Voldeframe. That means all of Time is bookended by HES and Rakhal's birthdips!

Nice to hear the Hamply and the June Bug got to meet up!

I'm also having a little lifemustard at the moment, so I felt I needed to come back here for a little OTTish comfort. I'm very glad to have this place to come to when I need such things. Love you all Image I was also drawn back here with thoughts of any OTTers who might be affected by any of the Zanclean-ness over in the US… hope you're all ok.

Hope your life-m*stard is soon sorted. I have some of your music saved to listen to, but I seem to have more pressing things at the moment.

We're very much in the waiting stage now. Everything is closed, and for the most part people should be where they plan to stay. (Except for Tampa that looked like it would be safe, until it didn't anymore.) Current forecast is for it to get here late tomorrow, and be relatively weak by then, but the current track has us in the tornado-y quadrant.

I've got snacks and water, and the car-castles have full tanks, and we even got one of them inside the car-castle-castle. And laundry is done in case I have to go to work but don't have power here. And all the things that can be charged are charged.

So now I do what OTTers do best.

I'm more worried about them, than me. Not to mention the folks in Mexico where the earthquake was.

Pro-tip, if you are ever in a disaster, try to be in the place getting the publicity. Also, don't be poor.

Big difference in how you can prepare if you have money and transportation readily available.

Still dark here this morning, but so far it doesn't seem much worse than an ordinary storm.

Yay, yappo! Glad you found your way out if the basement. I'm sorry about the lifem*stard. I hope that things become molpish for you soon. Very exciting about your first overseas gig!

There are things I want to respond to, but for now I just want to say to Pfhorrest that that I'm glad things are unimploded, but I'm sorry to hear able your mother's injury. Hope she heals quickly.

And SBN, I'm sending you and everyone in the storm's path all the molpish thoughts I can. Be safe.

And it's great seeing addams here again!

Edited to send more molpish thoughts. And then to fix other stuff.

I'm in the basement. I'm not coming out yet. I see the news, and silently hope that SBN, and any other other OTTers in the path of zancleanness will be safe and dry, but there's no rule against hoping in the basement, is there? My US trip is nearly over, and when I return to NZ there will be ketchup, or perhaps intended ketchup that leads to more delay and eventually a remorseful blindpost. Time will tell.

But meanwhile...
a little chirpy told me that Addams is back! And this I must add my huzzah to: Huzzah! :)

And, I think I need to make a quick comment on this too:

Yup, that's more like it. Saw the eclipse with OTTers. The eclipse was very treeish indeed, and still didn't make my top-5 list of favourite things from my trip to GnomeLand. :)
I got to enjoy a wonderful visit with Jose again as well. Yup - Other OTTers is a whole nOTTer order of magnitude. :)

This basement has more wine and spirits than I had noticed during my last trip here, but still, I will return. Please

Thanks addams, that's more than ok, that's exactly what I was going for! Well, in that it was inspired by Danny Elfman, Tim Burton's usual musical collaborator. It was supposed to be a little time-y (well, clockwork-y) as well. Because of course everything is RELATED.

There may well be a tsunami-like pulse of water, perhaps of mini-Zanclean proportions, in the Tampa area. Everyone has to stay well away from any shorelines that might normally experience tides.

Indeed, there are many euphemisms for… that, of which "busting your mustard" is only the latest.

Sure, but I was speaking in terms of the big picture. We're all connected. I think @thunk at OTT:2477:17 reminded me about something @ChronosDragon had inspired in me, and then I (but not I, really it was we'all) inspired you.

The stories made by 2words are indeed listed in reverse order. So that the newest are seen first. There are now enough stories to fill 3 pages. because of this "Once Again" and "Before" links are no longer enough. So now i added the "Unbefore" link which is the opposite of "Before". A third link that works like a local version of "once again" and goes back to the regular viewer is what I would like to do.
But the "once again" name is already taken.
Now the only thing that stops me from it is the name.
I will do it when I have the correct name for it.
i still haven't found the name. Must be because I didn't even try.

Where can I get some of those high-definition shoes?

So glad to hear from you, SBN, and sending continues molpish antu-Zanclean thoughts. My cousins who live in Miami made it to a hotel that was supposed to be ssfe, since first-responders were using it as a headquarters. I don't know if anyone has heard an update recently. Their house is next to the canal, so I really hope they have a home to go back to. :(

Rakhal, I am very curious about the woolpie wrestling. Was this some sort of rodeo, or is this a metaphor for something?

What's a metaphor, you ask? Why, for grazing cattle, of course.

What's a metaphor, you ask? Why, for grazing cattle, of course.

I was attempting to shear a woolpy and failed miserably. An experienced hand had to step in and complete the job. The woolpy gave me a disgusted look :)

I was at work. Office was open today, deserted, but open.

Parts of Jax have some serious flooding. I just had 10 bags of tree parts to get out of my pool.

Can you fit them together to make a complete tree, or did you get only the windward-side tree parts?

open-ended, and, in addition to being prosperous, i.e. sleek and
well fed, they are also peacefully going on with the business of
looking after their own welfare, totally undisturbed by anything.
The reason why Amos refers to them as cows is because cows are
always in the majority in a herd and when one looks at grazing
cattle, it is the cows which one notices first. […]

I have small parts of many trees. Many small parts. Some of the parts could become complete trees, given enough time.

If you'd like to attempt a reassembly, the parts will be in front of my house. Probably for several weeks.

It is very nice to read about SBN's tree parts.
My little corner of the world had a perfect afternoon.
Spoiler:
ahhh...Sixty-eight degrees with a light breeze from the northwest.
The sky was Robin's Egg Blue with brushstrokes of high icy cirrus.

The Ocean was blue, Not brown; Not grey; Blue.
The sunset was bright white. Not red, purple nor orange.

A clean white fog bank is hanging about five miles out.
Everything looks like nothing has ever gone wrong.

And; I am as pleased as punch with my little sun drenched deck.
My cozy little apartment is up level with the adult trees.

I like it up here.

....uh-oh,..Darn!! I smell smoke...
Ho-hum..well, ..We had one clear day.
