I feel once again it is time for a Blitz-report, as I have arrived at a neat tying-up point in many ways; a round newpage number, a round newpix number, a round hour at the end of a weekend, and the end of an album. All at once. It's like I planned it (I didn't).

Said newpage is 730, or 27.7% of the OTT; said newpix is 1670, or 53.8% of Time. I have had enough time to make reasonable progress in the evenings of the past weeks, when I feel inclined to read.
Having reached the page at which GnomeAnne informed me I would slow down, I have indeed noticed the lengthening of posts. We will see how this develops. However, I enjoy watching the molpy-hunting, and observing the other fine details that I have missed in my previous rushed and un-enlightened viewings of the OTC.

Replying to current-ish themes;
Whilst not strictly weather, yesterday I experienced a (minor) earthquake for the first time that I can remember. The UK is not particularly known for such events, and the last notable one was 10 years ago. I was lucky (?) enough to be almost atop its epicenter. It was a weird sensation, especially given my location in a small en-suite (windowless) bathroom on the 4th floor of a building. However, especially given no physical damage was caused to anyone or anything, I consider overall the experience to be positive.

EDIT: Really? Again? My blitz-post triggered another newpage. Ah, well, I guess I'll have to come up with a decree in the morning.

That is fascinating. I also experienced my first earthquake during my initial blitz.
I am going much more slowly than you, and have only gotten to NP560.

Oh, so you're another UK OTTer! That's nice to know as there actually aren't many of us. Off the top of my head there's just me, HES, Minim... and now you too! I have a feeling dawnfire might've been from the UK too... haven't seen them in a while but they made all those really awesome OTColourizations back in the day. Anyone else I'm forgetting?

Hi, present-version-of-someone-I-keep-reading-past-posts-of :D ! Yup, I'm another Englishman (albeit one living in Wales), and I'm pretty used to being in the minority on the bits of the internet I frequent. But I quite like it. I try not to pick up sayings/phrases more common to other versions of the language, but I frequently fail, or end up starting all my posts the same... (so far, 3/8 of my blitz-report posts have started with "I feel...". I should probably start changing that). Not sure if there's any more Brits in the past (or present), other than those you've mentioned.

internet, really?
the address of the server in this game was 192.168.80.236 which means it was on a local network, and not on the internet.

bad news.
The laptop on which I'm preparing BSTA doesn't want to cooperate any more.
After turning on it just turns on some LEDs, starts spinning the disk and after about 3s turns off again.

Why do I always have to deal with things like that? It's my third laptop since 2013 which refused to work like this.

I thought that the ongtimer values would start being reduced this week but now it's delayed even more.
To continue I have to move the files to a redundant computer but for this I need to fix or replace the mini IDE adapter which is needed for connecting the disk.
Good that I managed to update the overcoloured wheelstickframe before that.

Most spiders don't bite.
They are dangerous, because they cause the I Have A Spider On Me dance.
A person can dance themselves right off a ladder. Later Laddies, I have a Spider.

So, funny.
It's a dangerous dance where ever it is performed.

Even the women in the Deep Forest, the ones that think of terrestrial Spiders as a crablike delicacy, do The Dance.

How is Balthasar's machine?
Will we ever know where and when the Tardis went?

In ninety hours (3¾ days) bsta will update and we will get to see the next frame.
There's no telling whether it will show the tardis or whether we will go back to b and kxa.
Or maybe find a different person to be.

It was an angry hornet that chased me off a ladder. Scraping old paint off a house, ignoring most of the safety rules, as everyone else on the project was on the other side of the house. I was probably 30 feet up, and got stung, which of course meant all its buddies came to investigate.

Faster than I can type it, I had my feet on the outside of the ladder, and slid down, like I'd been practicing that move for months.

Recently I went to clean out the skimmer on the pool. As often happens, the thermometer had floated inside. The thermometer has a rubber duck on top, to keep it floating. In the skimmer basket, on the duck, was a spider, who appeared as big as the duck. I put the lid back, and left spider and duck to battle it out. The duck seems to have won.

Once when I was harmless
and didn’t know any better,

a mirror to the front of me
and an ocean behind,

I lay wedged in the middle of daylight,
paper-doll thin, dreaming,

then I vanished. I gave the day a fingerprint,
then forgot.

I sat naked on a towel
on a hot June Monday.

The sun etched the inside of my eyelids,
while a boy dozed at my side.

The smell of all oceans was around us—
steamy salt, shell, and sweat,

but I reached for the distant one.
A tide rose while I slept,

and soon I was alone. Try being
a figure in memory. It’s hollow there.

For truth’s sake, I’ll say she was on a beach
and her eyes were closed.

She was bare in the sand, long,
and the hour took her bit by bit.
