What's he up to now? Where is Megan? Can't he work on The Structure without her?

Could the box on of the first structure be some kind of winch system for a lift and Megan has gone to get some cables?

I still think it's in Isaiah; all in Isaiah. He's the Watchman. ("Cueball, what of the night? Cueball, what of the night?")

This neatly answers the ancient question of who watches the Watchman.

The Outside pulled me into deeply its evil clutches for many NewPixs/TimeFrames/Piculations, but let it beknownst that I did not abandon The One True Comic. I still observed and watched the wonderousness of Time unfold, but commented not, other than within my own head (amid the normal chaos of all the voices in there).

But, sadly, I missed...

...adding to the exchange of the cunning linguists debating the Timeless questions of the apostrophe in "it's" and the merits of the Oxford comma.

...posting my own "Huzzah!" of joy over the cute little trebuchette and the mini-destruction it brought forth.

...sharing the thrill of more cryptic dialog including the sea strangeness (!) and not being able to build higher, and the amazement over Cueball sipping the semenatedcaffiecancercoffebabywatersandice!

...partaking in the evolution of the holy acronym "LPWAII" (and its subsequent acronymic expansions) and the search for meaning behind it/them.

...participating in the excitement and bewilderment over the first arrival of the poles and the anticipation over a possible holy tether-ball game.

...offering my opinion during the discussion over BTTF and sequels that "Aliens" (the second one) was a great film and my absolute favorite of the franchise.

...chiming in during the thread-drift of left-handedness, with nothing worthwhile, relevant, or insightful -- but merely adding my own erratic thoughts in an off-handed way.

...entering the exchange about milking a vacumized spherical cow -- it's milked of course with a suction device.

...showing appreciation for the "Dune" reference to the "what's in the box?" question, and how "a bobcat" is a good blend of Schroedinger's cat and 'pain.' But then, even the familiar cuddly, snuggly kittycat would likely be IN pain if the poison were released inside the box and it were dying, so... uh, yeah, there's that.

...and taking part in all the other precious moments of interactive Time waiting within the One True Needle-Pulling Thingy.

I missed them all, and yet I saw them all. I've wandered and yet I've returned.

And still, without fail, I wait for it.

I added a more appropriate soundtrack, now that we're beginning to understand the deeper meaning behind the veneer of this comic's format. Please take a moment to find a more tranquil state of mind before viewing.

Or maybe the updates stop once everything that can be said will have said in this thread. For example, several people have suggested that the update frequency might be related to the forum posts

It would be funny if Randall somehow linked the rate of posting of newpix to the rate of comments on this thread, such that the more people commented, the faster newpix would come.

if that were the case, during the madness time, each newpix would correlate roughly to 5 minutes of outsider temporal reckoning.

Wait, why is that so exciting? What have you people done to me???
