Haha! Awesome.

I kid you not, I started reading the thread at about the time you posted, and NOW, 9 days laters I've caught up to your post. So, yeah, it looks like I'll be never catching up.

I think it's the first time in my life that I have the feeling something is going to happen as I die of old age.

9 days, huh? Wait, what? I'm 23 days behind now! I've been slacking! If I could, I'd give a smack in the head to my past self! What was I doing?!

Oh, it's all coming back now. Okay, that was worth it, so I guess I'll live with it.

Special thanks to: ChronosDragon's Newpix-O-Meter that I see every time I read his posts. It gives me a better sense of time than my computer clock, and it's kind of cool to see when a newpix is about to appear.

(Even though, it'll take me a long while to see it)

To Randall: For decreasing newpix to 1 Outsider hour. The only reason I have some hope of catching up.

And: buffygirl's hats! I can do some math to see how many Timeframes I'm behind, but I can't do that to see how many buffygirl's hats I have left to see! (without looking at the wiki)

GIFs worth replaying (I'm afraid people are so busy with the present that they don't have time to look back, and these pictures remain buried forever; not that THESE ones will not be buried forever...)

I think she should stick with what inspires her. Not sure our suggestions will create gold. But, my suggestion is that she create an original based on a Song of Time, or a Haiku of Time (probably with multiple haiku). Stick with what she loves. Pretty soon she'll have a comic following and maybe even a religion. heh ;)

1052 is one of my favorite°comics, so I had to go and read it right through again, and while I was there I read several comics to either side, as I often do when anyone links to a past comic. When I saw 1051: "Visited", I realized I had not yet image-searched 'wingsuit combat', and quickly did so. I naturally found several pics from the One True Fora, and coincidentally the first one I clicked on happened to have been posted by...

Agreed. Humour-wise, these last couple of pages have been the worst of the entire thread, in my opinion. Not that I'm all that witty or anything, but.. I'm just hoping it'll be over soon.

I might be able to help you out here, dreiarmumig, and any others with a bug in their humour processor. Try this joke:

A cow goes into a pharmacy and asks for a loaf of black bread.
The Pharmacist says "I'm sorry, we only have white bread.
Says the cow "doesn't matter, I came on my bike".

I'll leave you to ponder that before I return with the explanation.

Two cows are sitting in a tree, knitting washing machines. A sheep comes flying by. Says one cow to the other: "Whatever next!"

Okay, I have officially been on this thread for Too Long. A couple of posts back I was thinking about ginning up a "Did you smell mustard?" frame to post at the -ONG; I didn't do it because I had to go to work (where I am now).

But on the way to work I thought about the xkcd-Regular.otf font that I installed after "Externalities," that I was going to use for "mustard," and suddenly realized how I was reading the file extension to myself. I'll spoiler it so you can see for yourself if you've been spending too much time here. How do you read xkcd-Regular.otf?

Alright! Caught up post-coma...

So much has happened in the past 24-Newpixs! And yet, here we are, still Waiting for It. And there Megan and Cueball go, walking and talking, as if all that has happened has not. And yet it has.

So, in so many ways, it's the same as it ever was, the same as it ever was...

"Once in a live Time"
(based on "Once in a Lifetime" by the Talking Heads)

Spoiler:
They may find themselves, walking in the big outback
They may find themselves, in another part of the world
They may find themselves, with a small trebuchet
they may find themselves, on a beautiful beach, with a beautiful castle
They may ask themselves, well, how did we get here?

Letting the frames go by, let the semen wash the ground
Letting the frames go by, mustard flowing underground
Into the black again, after the fade-out's gone
Once in a live Time, mustard's flowing underground

Cue may ask himself, "how do I work this?"
Cue may ask himself, "where is that small trebuchet?"
Cue may ask himself, "where is that beautiful beach?"
Cue may tell himself, "I don't see our beautiful castle..."

Letting the frames go by, let the water wash the ground
Letting the frames go by, mustard flowing underground
Into the black again, after the fade-out's gone
Once in a live Time, mustard's flowing underground

Same as It ever was, same as It ever was,
Same as It ever was, same as It ever was,
Same as It ever was, same as It ever was,
Same as It ever was, same as It ever was...

Semen dissolving, and mustard removing
there is mustard at the bottom of the ocean
Remove the semen, carry the mustard
Remove the mustard from the bottom of the ocean

Letting the frames go by, let the semen wash the ground
Letting the frames go by, mustard flowing underground
Into the black again, after the fade-out's gone
Once in a live Time, mustard's flowing underground

Into the black again, into silent mustard
Under the rocks and stones, there is mustard underground
Letting the frames go by, into silent mustard
Once in a live Time, mustard flowing underground

Cue may ask himself, "where is that small trebuchet?"
Cue may ask himself, "where does this walking lead to?"
Cue may ask himself, "am I right, or am I wrong?"
Cue may say to himself, "my Randall, what have you done???"

Same as It ever was, same as It ever was,
Same as It ever was, same as It ever was,

Steam bottle? eh?? - this nonsensical dialogue (along with the mustard artefacts) is making me increasingly believe that this comic is being generated automatically.

Either that or it is a game (I'm not trying to trivialise time)/ puzzle that we haven't yet determined the rules for.

EDIT I presume the steam bottle is for turning urine into drinking water btw.

Well, maybe their clothes are just getting a little wrinkled?

Very cool. Thanks for including the three missing/apocryphal frames. We may be closer to the round number than we think.

You are a wonderful person :D

This is true. Much thanks for all you've done as recorder of Time!

I conjecture that a steam bottle is a bottle for making...wait for it...steam. The ways of the Creator of Time are mysterious, indeed.

Post coma update time.
Progress: 403/483 VeXlocity: -.6667 newpages/longpix.

Clueless Cueball-Megan discussions about the nature of the Sea (which is big) and Rivers (which are small - are there more?), which Cue thinks is made of water, but Megan (of course) questions (subconsciously knowing it is a proprietary seablend of holycoffeesemencancerbaconbabypcbrunoff1, after they creepily stare at us...

1-some water polar solvent substrate may or may not be added

Accidentally clicked on a link that took me to page one and WT Actual F???!?!!? *shivers*

This is fun, time-travelling backwards (relatively) while going forwards, but that party-train is getting further and further away...
Don't know how much longer I can keep this up...
If I don't get to the futurepresent, I may never get a hat!

Here's my obligatory wall-o-poststm.

It is a common mistake.
Try quoting your own post above, then see what the URL shows up as.

Weird, I opened image in new tab then copied like normal. Oh well, edited the old one so that it doesn't confuse future thread dwellers. Thanks muchly for pointing it out!

My appreciation!

I am still really worried, in spite of this sigcouragement, and thinking of using that time machine I saw a while back, in spite of all the warnings...

That's some tasty looking cake. Don't mind if I do...

Oh my Randal that was a long post outside/coma ketchup. Nearly two Newpix spent catching up on 18 Newpages. Everything has run together in my mind.

Huzzah, Pope Helper returns,

and uh...

FrankenBAGer, (The only horrible (awesome) B movie to delve into the uses of Super Crack!)

I may need to do some actual work for a while.

Definitely! :?

But would distilled urine be preferable to distilled semencoffeecancerbabies?

Come here Megan,
Cueball's doin' his thing
He ain't too thick...
Hell's he's just a stick, babe
But he might have flags --
'Cause Cueball's got a brand new bag.

Come here Megan,
and dig in the semencoffeecaffeine
He's not too fancy...
But his line is pretty clean
His old scaffold sags --
But Cueball's got a brand new bag.

He's doing the work,
watchin' Time fly.
He's kinda cheap -- yes, you know he cain't buy
Still he's gettin' hungry, for mashed potatoes;
and bacon on a rack; and semencoffee later.

Come here Megan,
Cueball's doin' his thing
He's tired from the trip...
And ready for some feed, babe
The sea makes him gag --
But Cueball's got a brand new bag!

I spent my childhood with this song, great stuff. (I also have a guitarist friend called James Brown; when I've played gigs with him we've occasionally introduced him as the Godfather of Soul...)

Thanks! Glad you liked it!

***insert James Brown squeal/growl which I cannot come close to spelling -- maybe "Hiyeeahia", perhaps with a guttural "Good Gawd!"??? ***

And to all the others who've posted positive feedback in the blur of the recent flurry of postPages that I didn't stop to thank individually -- thank you! I DID see your kinds words and they're greatly appreciated!

:D
