Common misconception. It's actually your browser's spellcheck; the OTF lacks such functionality.

Only when I read it back to myself. Or sit down.

Hey one more thing you could add that should be quite easy would be a newPix to forum location converter. Just have an entry box where you type in say 500 and it will then do the maths to convert that to a date and then find the ID of the first post after that day and either display a link to the forum at that post or redirect to their straight away. I added this feature to the Book of Time but I have been lax at updating it manually.

You can also get it to display the newPage number which can be calculated by dividing the post count by 40 (assuming you store all the posts in order and can get a post count figure)

You could also possibly display a table newpix on the left and newPage on the right (with the newPage being also a link to the first post on that newpix). could also add columns for who the first poster was. And later add options to add a link to display a graph or table of all posters of that newpix.

Anyway just some ideas.

You don't know that. Maybe you we can't see anything but black and white. (Or perhaps Lord Randall is using colors we can't see.)
I invoke Rule #1037.

BlitzGirl wrote:The mustard is still there, it's just hiding.

AS IT SHOULD SINCE IT'S HERETICAL

It's not heretical. It's just not part of the current frame sequence.
IT WILL BE BACK. Eventually.

BlitzGirl wrote:The mustard distracted from the narrative of the One True Comic by remaining static while the terrain and Cuegan both moved! And look, how we all spent TimeFrames and TimeFrames discussing something that WAS NOT MEANT TO BE by the great Lord Randall! It was supposed to be another contemplative journey period, but nooo, we got mustard all over it. :(

We got way more off-topic for way more Time, and yet, we are still here.
Also, being part of the OTC, the Mustard is actually on-topic.

BlitzGirl wrote:To me it was as blatantly wrong as if seizure-gif appeared in the upper right corner of the next newpix. Which, I think we all agree, would be heretical.

Maybe Lord Randall wants us all dead. Possibly, by making the Outsiders kill us.
Or with a hypnotizing-seizure-inducing-frame.

Why? Eventually you'd subdivide until you could classify them all individually by "Frames," which I believe is what Lord Randall intended.

Would that make you a Framist?

Yes. At least at some level. Most segmentation of the OTC is subjective, other than at the beginning and ending of the Fading, I think.

I don't know how often I'd check myself, but I'd definitely update my download script to check, "Is this image identical to the last one?" with alarums and excursions if something changed.
──────────────────────
Some weeks back I picked up a copy of the movie version of Michael Crichton's Timeline. Fun movie (if not very intellectually satisfying) about time travel. During the climactic battle scene, half the dialogue seems to consist of people bellowing, "Tre-bu-chayyyyyyyyyyy!" I think I bought it (and watched it) just a few outsider days before "Time" started running, but I can't prove it.

But while I was searching for a store receipt as proof, I found a different receipt, from March 25, 2012 - one outsider year exactly before the OTC started - for my purchase of the Moody Blues' Days of Future Passed. (Also the Moody Blues' A Question of Balance, which I quoted back on newpage 436.)

Like StratPlayer keeps saying, "It's all related!"

There is certainly a case to be made that Lord Randall reads/somehow learns of the goings-on of the OTT. Sure, all the evidence is circumstantial, but it is increasing. Sort of.

There is certainly a case to be made that Lord Randall reads/somehow learns of the goings-on of the OTT. Sure, all the evidence is circumstantial, but it is increasing. Sort of.

Oh he is following us, that's for sure.

I wonder what he thinks of our calling him Lord Randall.

But we already knew Randall was omniscient. He's Lord of Time, after all. He needs not even read the thread, he simply knows.

Also I just realized that the original "Boom de yada" song has 1 more verse...anyone feel like writing a third or shall I? Or we could get Blitzgirl to do it, since she wrote the first 2. NOPE never mind.
I bring this up because I went through it just as a demo to see how it would work. Answer: it would, except for the third verse thing. I just need some recordings of you guys :D Seriously, I'm not terrible, but I don't think I could hold the whole song :P

What did she propose? First thing that comes to mind is a stretched rope over the river, but how do they even get it to the other side? Maybe when I return from coma I'll find out.

Wait, you're right. I must have the timing off or something.

Edit: oh. The instrumental I have is longer than the original. Anyone wanna write a fourth verse? :D Or it could just keep going "boom de yada" for a slightly awkwardly long amount of time...

I'm still hung up on "doctor".
(Note also my not-footnote in there in relation to today's Other Comic. It just gets deeper and deeper.)

Added: I would keep the first 'n' in there myself, i.e. "yind-in" or "yin-din". It doesn't really make it any harder, and hews closer to the original. Typo on your part, or would you elide that?

Also, being part of the OTC, the Mustard is actually on-topic.

I never said it was off-topic, I said it was heretical. That's an important distinction.

Ugh, the Timeline movie butchered the book. I feel the need to bring this up whenever someone mentions that film.

I think the instruction 'wait for it' was just to set the ball rolling - to make sure someone stuck around to see the first transition. For the rest, we have no commandment. And like Outsider life there will be no point revealed in the final Frame. And we don't have free will.

Quoteception, each quoting "Boom De Yada" until our heads explode. Very OTT.

Btw, I don't know the melody, so, I can't sing it. Plus, I'd be embarrassed. lol.
