Cueball is gonna hurt himself with all that spikes

EDIT: As pope of NewPage 836 I decree every poster and lurker of the One True Thread shall do 10 sit-ups today. And to continue the tradition of one of my predecessors, I order you all to be happy for this NewPage (in memoriam Neil_Boekend)

Voluntary Molpy touching. An OTC first? (Not counting Facebug, which touched her).
In Svithjod, there stands a rock. It is 100 miles high and 100 miles wide. Once every 1000 years a little bird comes to this rock to sharpen its beak. One time, I changed just the last sentence of this signature, and lots of you noticed. Image

I think so, if you count the encounter with the ribbit as involuntary touching.

I have seen angered porcupines in our local zoo.
I don't know the exact classification. The animals' bodies were about 2/3 m long, in times of peace the quills passively folded pushing the length to a total of a full meter. Now, the cuties were hungry and the keeper was - at least in the eyes of a hungry porcupine - not as fast as he should be in bringing the food.

Three big hemispheres of spikiness (flat site down, of course), CBDR. I learned then that the quills penetrate the common keeper trousers as well as rubber boots. The common defensive strategy for a zoo keeper is: Run.

Impressive.

Done. This is a rather healthy papacy for us indeed (especially after all the cake and pizza...). :)

I guess this dog might have adopted the same strategy for further encounters:

I did a couple of Tarot cards that are more OTC than OTT. I started checking out a tarot meanings page and it's fun to see what meanings there are for even the lowly cards. The Two of Wands is described as representing the energy and will to make our reality. "A cohesive vision of the final destination starts to form, and though this first impression may be incorrect, that really does not matter at this time. There will be plenty of time to change your course later if you are not heading in the direction you want to be." This is the textless frame before "Want to find out?" "Yes."

The Five of Pentacles is said to do with real-world problems, often a material "loss that you bring upon yourself." Hmm, not exactly poverty, but I couldn't resist.

This is great stuff. As it was my original suggestion, I can only hope you'll continue (or others pick up). Me personally, I am useless at graphics, but great at tossing inane ideas around!

Mathematics has theorems. Physics has theories. Not the same.
Mathematical theorems are true, false, unknown, or indeterminate. Physics has theories that conform to observation or they are either rejected or refined.

On the other hand, physics gives mathematicians something to abstract over and mathematics gives physicists tools to aid their observations (especially their measurements).

A physicist assumes the series converges until proven otherwise.
An engineer assumes the series converges even when proven otherwise.

You don't have to laugh about that. It's a very sensitive subject!

I just turned on the TV, and I the first thing I saw was a bald guy holding a little prickly pokeymolpy in his hand.
*nods knowingly*
It's ALL related.
Wait on.

The sequence where Cuegan walks toward the pokeymolp is the most movie-like so far, IMO.

Great movie! Two thumbs up! Also, this does show that, in fact, the rock molpyx hedgemolpy was imitating Cuegan's attempts to scramble over the rock. How adorable! :D
