Yup.

There was no point in putting Chekhov's Little French Girl on the beach in the first act unless she's going to triumphantly return with a raft in the third act.

Although it doesn't relate to OTC:
I always have felt that Chekhov's Gun is overrated anyways XD
The only good series/novel that actually carried it out is Harry Potter.
I DON'T GET CHECKHOV'S GUN!\

8 more newpix to collect the rest of the 40 and supplies/belongings, 12 newpix of floating upstream through rivers and canyons until they arrive at Château d'If, 10 newpix of dealing with the Beanies and Rosetta, 6 frames of aftermath, and thus ends time, with Cuegan living long and happily ever after. And thus ends time at np3070.

(The good news: I've got a lousy track record with predictions. I guess this is my attempt to ensure that time does not end.)

A xip and a half, huh? Eesh. No offense, but I hope your track record continues to be lousy, and that your prediction just bought Time some more Time.

It makes me think the "salt" and "fresh" water they're referring to are very different than what we'd call "salt" and "fresh" water. Thoughts?

It is weird, but maybe they didn't need to learn to swim properly in fresh water because of the buoyancy. They have lived their whole life there (Cueball going to the rock when he was little), but haven't progressed a lot in terms of technology and exploration.

Sure, the pace has picked up, but that is no surprise now it's a race against time. We spend kilopix pondering about a day at the beach and a hike, why couldn't we follow their everyday life when this emergency is over?

Found this little clip from a French tourist at Château d'If.
It's ⁴, but doesn't really help confirm anything; the inside of the castle doesn't look much like the OTC version.

I'm figuring that once this is all over, and The Forty are safely out of the basin, Megan, Cueball and LaPetite will build a smaller castle (out of sand this time, and comment on that). Once it's done, they leave the scene and the tide slowly erodes the castle back to sand.

Thus ends Time.

But please, not soon.

A little French lesson (or: une petite leçon de Français)...
La == female, le == male.
Petite == female, petit == male.
So, LaPetite and LePetit are correct, but LaPetit and LePetite are just plain silly.

I seem to remember them making references to rafts, at one point. But I also have a feeling that the idea of floating many people on a vessel is new to them. Could Megan be suggesting that they shall become the first seafaring people?

Also, I tend to agree that Time may not be coming to a swift conclusion. I think that, once all the Forty are safe on higher ground, an expedition may be mounted to discover the true cause of the flooding. They may join the Beanies, perhaps on a journey to the Straits of Gibraltar...where they will find Black Hat Guy!

ETA: @Yappo I just printed off the board. We need currency and Chance/Community Chest Cards. Perhaps we can all pull together to create these things and post them on the Wiki for all to DL and enjoy!
