Hahah, you were just waiting for it. I actually thought I'd have the 1300 Centapope with my last post, but I ended up goating the page for you. That's OK.. I like it when you're mome better.

Thanks for giving me an easy place to find more smileys, though I actually have an entire folder of OTT-related smiley bookmarks including this one you did back on NP610! Does that make this page meta, or what?

Can't wait until Image makes the new round of user-emoticons. ><

And since this is a page of smileys.. here are my favorites:

P30: We have a winner! Most accurate prediction of the OTT!
dalcde wrote:I've got a feeling that the last slide will be an obvious ending (like THE END). Just a thought.

At the moment, Megan has left the sandcastle scene for quite a while now, and we've just hit the point in Time when othercomic #1191 has been published. Which naturally means that Time is at an end. Right? Surely he wouldn't go on beyond this point? :)
16.288% blitzed (I can't believe it went backwards!): Wait for me!
At the moment I calculate my blitz-percentage based on the total number of newpages (which of course continues to rise). Perhaps I should base it on the number of the newpix we do not mention (1254) instead? Opinions?

This is my longest post-coma ketchup since The Event, which is great. Must have been the weekend, along with the excitement over the blag post. Good to see we haven't slowed down much :D . All I have to say is that I can't believe you actually put my MSPainting of Frame 1 on the OTColored page. Could someone please make a better one so the page doesn't start off so lame? I've gotten Paint.net which is much easier than GIMP and I may try to make a half-decent manip in the future.

I like your colored newpix, wizpretz! I think it's a fine way to start off the OTColored, and show that all types of coloring are accepted (after all, we have over 3000 frames to do)!

Thanks, Valarya! But I want to point out again that the original poem is by SPACKlick, and I just double-dactyled it. The rhyme pattern is EDCB AECD AEDC BAED CCDC BABA, which means that all "A" lines end on the same rhyme, all "B" lines on another, and so on. A limerick, for example, has the pattern AABBA, like this one:

I've done Double D
And a song parody
So a limerick seemed to be next!

Now that I re-read your post, I'm not sure if this is what you were asking about, but I'll post it anyway.

Otherriverish smiley collection, BlitzGirl! And thanks for adding the highly-OTT-related cupcake smiley, Valarya!

No, I did send it - and he replied to most of my questions in the Blag-post. However, I would like to see the other things (Q&A sessions, original, high-res artwork) answered as well. I wouldn't mind to contribute to creating merchandise that would benefit him financially, whether a (cross-over) book, e-book, original soundtrack, musical - and I think a number of others here feel the same way.

Because How it works, “I don’t know"
Moutain’s high, river’s low
up this high the wind blows, and raptors fly and there are trees.

Megan, these trees are neat
But too hard to rest your head

Megan, there’s berries to eat
And the people who live here have run away
Megan, ooo
The sea it tasted fresh
If we don’t find out what changed the water
Carry on, carry on, at least it’s beautiful

There’s squirrels here, and lots of food
The bush is full of flies

A snake startled Cueball- so round we go
Gotta leave the chirps behind and find the truth

Let’s go up the mountain, we’ll be able to see
Put it all in your bag and give your bag to me.
I’ll just step in and help you cross this stream

So you arose here from down in the dessert below
and there are five eight times people at home
The seas joined, and the other sea’s higher
The seas gonna rise – the sea’s gonna rise right up to here

Just a quick post to gasp at how ridiculously good Blitzgirl and taixzo's colourings are and to jaw-drop at the One True Form poems. Somewhat humbled by the colourings and thinking I should probably give up my comparatively bland offerings!

Also loving the nostaligia of smolloy's posts, but I guess he won't see this until another 4+ months' time...

Finally, great to see that GLR's been watching. Feel somewhat touched that he's blagged that it's mostly been for the OTTers (and us many lurkers) seeing it through to The End. His post has definitely upped the piquancy of the ending for me, and emphasised just how extraordinary an undertaking this has been.

ETA: Just spotted that taixzo's entry hadn't made it through to the OTColored page, for some reason, so have added it (noting that I may have guessed the wrong frame number - do please fix if so!).

In the OTC, Cuegan took a short rest at the third campsite and decided not to cross the river4 and continue up to the hills instead. Before leaving the campsite, Cueball left for the river to get more water and we get to watch Megan as she returns to the vineyard to "stock up". As she is passing a tree, she encounters a squirpy and feeds it. As Cuegan walk on, the elevation begins to rise faster and while Cueball makes shapes with his shadow, Megan gives us some important clues: 1. Everything since at least after the fading probably happened in a single day. 2. They were probably walking east while following the sea1.

In the OTT: the how-to-post discussion still smoulders, but everything gets calm again after several newpages; there is a lot of molpy hunting (squirpy and molpython are discovered); attempts to match the comic location to Madagascar continue, though the squirpy disrupts this theory; more and more OTT song parodies...

BlitzGirl, that's awesome!

I have not heard of this until now, WOnder93!! It appears that you are going through the OTT and OTC from the past (as many have claimed to do/re-do), but are giving us 'live' updates from the past about what was going on at the time in both the OTC an the OTT!!! I LOVE this idea and will now look forward to seeing more and more of them. Keep going, and Blitz on!!

ETA: some serious quote/spoiler Mustard that I just noticed on my way to Ketchup!

About BlitzGirl's question about what contribution we are most proud of. I don't like to brag...

*twitch, twitch*

all right, I do like to brag: I was the first OTTer to suggest the Zanclean flood. Moahaha! I won the thread! Wheee!

*twitch*

...but that was of course just a lucky guess. Nevertheless, I will celebrate by trying an OTTification. (Not sure if it is really singable.)

ZANCLEAN FLOOD (based on Aquarius)

When Antares is forever gone,
And when Venus is the evening star,
When the river may not reach the sea,
When the hills are where the bullies are:

It is the coming of the second Zanclean flood!
The second Zanclean flood! Zanclean flood! Zanclean flood!

Salinity may be decreasing
While the sea is clearly rising.
Trebuchets and crenelations
are replaced by consternation.
Lack of formal education
Does not hinder exploration.

Zanclean flood! Zanclean flood!

When Antares is forever gone,
And when Venus is the evening star,
When the river may not reach the sea,
When the hills are where the bullies are:

It is the coming of the second Zanclean flood!
The second Zanclean flood! Zanclean flood! Zanclean flood!

Zanclean flood! Zanclean flood! Zanclean flood!

And by the way, Aquarius was also filked in the infamous Pressures thread (most of the thread was moved and aptly renamed to "Relativity(?) or some crap").
Hatted and wimpled by ergman.
Dubbed "First and Eldest of Ottificators" by svenman.

Thanks for sharing the sentiment.

The last bit reminded me of the following:

When I molpy up yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be checking up on the OTT & C
When I go out yeah I know I'm gonna be
wondering whatever is up with the OTT & C

If I get drunk yes I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be drunkposting to the OTT
And if I pagepope yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be decreeing the hell out of you and me

But I would watch 1550 frames
And I would watch 1550 more
Just to be the man who watched 3100 frames
Before he is forced to molpy down

When I'm working yes I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be checking up on the OTT & C
And when the money comes in for the work I'll do
I'll be buying 3000 T-shirts of the OTT & C

When I come home yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be checking up on the OTT & C
And if I grow old well I know I'm gonna be
growing old and grumbling in the OTT

But I would watch 1550 frames
And I would watch 1550 more
Just to be the man who watched 3100 frames
Before he is forced to molpy down

When I'm lonely yes I know I'm gonna be
hurrying back to ketchup on the OTT & C
When I'm dreaming yes I know I'm gonna dream
Dream about the time in the OTT & C

But I would watch 1550 frames
And I would watch 1550 more
Just to be the man who watched 3100 frames
Before he is forced to molpy down

500 miles - by the Proclaimers.

Cheers,

Writing from my iPad, the 5 th and final device I've been viewing time on that I've checked since you know when. With each one there has been a moment of nostalgia as I see what timeframe I was last reading on it. On this iPad, it's m3053. Oh the innocence! :)

Molpy Up!
With a szcho-blindpost. I'm on NP1294 & here on NP 1300!!!
Back from work, needed to ketchup with my cousin. (I guess I never mentioned I staying in an apartment in his house {fairly old, the new addition was built in the '50's}) And while out planning where the next "campfire" will be, I found a Blue jay feather. Looks like it's a wing feather from the size and shape. Striking blue color on the leading edge.

Whenever I want to use one in the future I can now hop to newpage 1300 and copy the url!
I'm sure I missed some, so let me know if you think of any that I forgot to include...

Another sea-ish and WOWderful smiley depot BiltzGirl.
And thanks for the multi-spoiler post. (After seeing 'Molpy", I thought I'd see "grapevine" under the last one.)

dawnfire wrote:Just a quick post to gasp at how ridiculously good Blitzgirl and taixzo's colourings are and to jaw-drop at the One True Form poems.

My eyes have been dazzled by all of the color posts I've just in between 1192 & 1194. I can't Wait to see more of them.

I see smolloy is getting into the swing of blitzing. Go, smolloy, Go!!!!!

I guess I need to find The GLR post dawnfire mentioned. It must be ahead of me (or is on Site in the Blog Pages?). *ssshhhh* Don't spoil it for me. However I will return to 1194 and not look ahead, like a good ketchuper/mini-blitzer. Actually I've been amongst those who held out a bit of hope that He would make some sort of comment, some where about the OTC & OTT.

Now to post this so it is on NP1300.

Please don't try to outwin anyone, but rather add to the community effort of artistic glory. If my 5 min. Ipad drawing is there (frame 6), your contribution will be appreciated.

P.S. attempting to draw Cuegan in frame 6 only showed me how hard it is to display such vast range of emotions using faceless stick figures. GLR's work is Amazing.

P.S. everyone wants time T shirts. Since GLR doesn't plan to sell any, I know a place that prints any image you's like on a shirt for ~$10, so I'll just make myself a Time shirt of my own. I just need to think what exactly to print. A single frame? I want Cuegan to be in it and I probably want some sandcastles too. Maybe I will combine several frames to a single detailed Image representing time.
It's about time.

I thought it might be nice to post a frame per newpage, according to the np number. This should keep the OTT going for a little while longer...
This way, there might be ninjas too... And each frame could be reviewed again with better knowledge.
