I not sure if you were aware
But the decree was a limerick up there
the first line of the decree
was underlined you see
Which causes confusion somewhere

I retract that which I said previously
I posted the thing far too hastily
for what I'd not seen
was that ED's post had been

@intheshax That was the hardest sudoku I've ever done. I do a lot of free iphone app sudoku puzzles, but they've never made me go beyond the occasional hidden pair or triplet to solve them. I eventually had to go online and look up sudoku techniques. It got frustrating at times, but I felt so satisfied when I finally finished it. Thanks!

Blindposting from 1435 near the beginning of a seaish ketchup after the first week at the new job. I'm so happy you enjoyed solving it, marchlight! I also learned some new techniques in the last couple of weeks. 3D Medusa? What, are you kidding me? Was that even invented when I took up sudoku a few years ago?

@BlitzGirl - So sorry you're not feeling well... I give you the same incantation I once offered Valarya: "Sana te, Sana, colita de rana - si no sana hoy, te sana maƱana." I hope the tail of a frog works for you too!

@ChronosDragon - Awesome "You could have stopped it" story!

@Ebonite - Loved the Ballad of the PBA! (I wonder how rhinestone bowling balls would work!)

I'm enjoying those Post-Time Beanie comics! It sure seems to me that those Beanies say the same thing to each other an awful lot! Maybe it's their equivalent of "Yo!"
Spoiler:
and the whole thing is a subliminal ad for a spinning string toy.
Nice one waveny! If I rewrite it substituting "OTT" for "Bern", would that be an ottifottifcation?

@azule - Thanks for the congrats on my fifteenth post. :) I didn't even notice it myself. You know what they say.... "Time flies".
Spoiler:
You can't. They move too fast!
@AluisioASG - Nice YHF song ottie! Never heard of them before!

Kieryn wrote:Also I thought someone might have a go at doing some astronomy on the stars to determine the exact date during the summer of 1994. Nobody did though.
I wonder if the astronomers are still here. Better check the basement!

Awesome time capsule mrob27!

Per the Pope (yeah, it's an old decree, but whatever!):

Whenever the OTT starts to snooze
Somebody calls for the muse.
Then poets all day
take their words out to play
but punners must still pay their dues!

ChronosDragon wrote:People here are amazing. This is, without a doubt, the best internet community I have ever participated in, bar none...
I'll second and third those sentiments. There's a forestful of treeish people here and it's great to be a part of this community!

@svenman - Love the "Ketching up is Hard to Do" ottie! And it's so true! Especially when one reads twice, as I am doing now... first to read it, and second to go back and respond to things. Probably missed a lot I wanted to respond to too! (I sometimes split the reading from the responding because of Outside constraints.)

Well, I have been thinking about this, so here it goes:

"Sympathy for the OTTer" with sincerest apologies to the Rolling Stones.
Please allow me to introduce myself
I write posts with wit and taste
I've been around for a long longpix
Ninja'd many others ONG and faith
Spoiler:
And I was 'round when Goggalor
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that pixel
Darkened and changed the frame

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is my chosen favorite frame

I stuck 'round the needle-pulled thing
Buffygirl opened her dashery
Elected the pope and xis cardinals
Newedge and Swey screamed in vain
I made a pun
About Chekhov's gun
When the Blitzgirl raged
And the chainsaw raved

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name
Ah, what's puzzling you
Is my chosen favorite frame

I read with glee
All the OTTities
D-Dactyl Poems
About hedgemolpies
I shouted out
"Who made all these OTTities"
When after all
It was you and me
Let me please introduce myself
I post poetry and cupcakes
And I laid traps for the page pope
Who gets ninja'd before the newpage

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
But what's puzzling you
Is my chosen favorite frame

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
But what's confusing you
Is my chosen favorite frame

Just as every beesnake zips by
And all the raptors fly
As heads is tails
Just call me Mr. Lucky
Cause I have need for Panther Salve
So if you meet me
Have some courtesy
Have some sympathy, and some taste
Always be polite on the OTT
or I'll lay your cakes to waste

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name
But what's puzzling you
Is my chosen favorite frame

<insert extended whoo hoo-ing and guitar playing until the end of song>

Oh dear. I'm sure there is mustard in there  I have been thinking it would make a good OTTification, and decided to give it a try. So there you have it.

@ChronosDragon Yeah, that "doodle" still beats my in-the-margin flutterbees by a long trebuchet shot

Now, as it is late, I must coma. Keep the faith and OTTify it!

OTTify it...
OTTify it...
Whoo hoo...
Hope you guess my name...
Whoo hoo...

Molpy down!

Yeah I mentioned an issue with that. Try putting your mouse over Newpixbot to display the description and I think it should clear it.

A more annoying bug I just found by accidentally loading instead of saving: if you save when Newpixbots are counting down and load after the time they would activate, they don't activate. I just lost 9 castles because of that. I believe I know how to fix that, but in the meantime try to avoid that.
