hey has someone compiled a list of molpy names?

OH.
Well, Hotdog Vendor decree: suggest lots of molpy names! Maybe even have pictures/captions to go with them. Or compile lists. Just don't make a single standard list. That's not acceptable at all!

Hello, everyone. I hope things have been going well while I was gone. Let me take a look around for a moment... *quick ketchup from NP1535...*

yappobiscuits wrote:I led a bunch of folk (presumably OTTers) in singing this.
Treeish! I love iambic octameter. BTW, @Eternal Density I found your verse on NP1519 after you mentioned it here, and FYI the other iambic octameter on that page is by you here, and by @DrSamCarter here.
Imagea lot of talk of Sandcastle Builder... I have to say, I got frustrated by the reliance on random guessing and puzzles, so I closed the tab, deleted the c**kies, restarted the game (now totally wiped out) and then used for(i=0;i<570;i++){Molpy.ONG();} to get back to the proper Newpix. I bought 1 bucket and 1 NewPixBot, then after a while I clicked a whole mess of times so I could get autosave, and that's it. I have 689 castles and I'm okay with that.
I need a game that can be played by Wait-For-It-ing, not by thrashing around randomly and wishing I could read the mind of the programmer. (However, i DO LOVE REDUNDANCY.JS!!! and it inspired me to get my standalone poetry-meter grep script running, so that's not all that bad...)
Ooohh, reading my own chronogram. That's weird *(skips)* . . . ch*rp that was a long post. Are you sure that's okay? I've seen that people like my posts, but ch*rp! What's the current rule on posting length?
@lmjb1964, I PM'd you with a copy of your lost text. For everyone else, if this kind of thing happens to you in the future when editing an old post, PM me and I might be able to retrieve your lost post-text from my archives. (I do it for science!)
    @stickler,
stickler wrote:If you had a printed version of the whole of this thread, how many printers would you need in order to keep up with the changes made to the live version?
I don't know about printers, but it would take this many molpies:
Spoiler:

@ucim thanks, glad you liked my poetification ("poe-OTT-ification"?)
More iambic octameter from @Eternal Density, yay molpies! And I found your NP1519 verse, see above paragraph.
@AluisioASG, 8 tabs are open right now in my browser. I don't switch tabs, I switch windows (that way I can see the content of both at the same time.) I'm switching every centinewpix or so, alternating between the ketchup-reading and typing this.
    Ch*rp @ggh, that's a lot of tabs!
Oh wow, the Boosts page on the One True Wiki actually gives me a clue what's going on! Thanks @waveney!
@yappobiscuits, wonderful work on the "I guess one of us should climb down" caption. And honourable mention to @ZoomanSP for "I don't know how anything works.".
    Wowterful LostFrames, @Vytron !
@jovialbard, listened to your song, very poignant! Is it based on a tune or lyrics written by another, or all your own creation?

hmmm, so that's what we're doing now? okay... here's a jpg, one of my favorite M&C dialogue lines:

Spoiler:

I was trying, but inland keeps moving!

For decree: my new molpy name is in the ALT text, "calicolpies", in case you didn't see it.

. . .

Anyway, why the ch*rp am I here? I bet you're asking. :P

I'm here to greet the Campaign for Real Time when they show up on Newpage 1541 to investigate the ruse that Timborme and I set up for them. However I have a feeling they might not even show up... or won't want to deal with us, or whatever.

I thank you for speeding up the pace of the Newpages (as measured against the newpix clock, or just go to mrob.com/time and scroll to the bottom) because it means I won't have to stay here too long before NP1541 has come and gone, and then I can return to my own Time (which is back at NP595, as you can see in my sig).

As for Timborme himself, he's actually outside the main entrance of the TARDIS, which is still in NP595. I've told him not to try to find the second control room, which is several kq (kilocueballs) away through the corridors so I doubt he'll find it.

In the meantime, I guess you could say I'm schizoblitzing. On the Outside I'm actually going to be fairly busy todip, so I'll probably just lurk. Optional decrees are optional so whatever comes up on NP1541, 1542 I might not do  .

I won't be in the Present for long, at the rate things are going it may be only 10 np or so! (Image Image Image :!: ninja'd by about 10 messages while writing this ) ch*rp yeah! :D

I spent a lot of time researching these things. Though the Doctor's TARDIS has materialized inside itself, and is well known to have multiple control rooms, I found nothing to confirm or deny whether a TARDIS can have multiple exits. But ch*rpit, mine does, by my own royal decree, and this isn't a Whovian forum so everyone can just deal with it :o .

Yeah, I used JS to reset my newpix counter to frame 500-or-so, but I don't want to actually change how the game works. It's just a nice way to watch the One True Comic in real time. Does that example actually do anything? Some kind of race condition example?

There's no standard for posting length, and if there was, there would probably be a chupamolpy ping pong ball going "ni ni ni..."
Speaking for myself, I don't mind at all. Variety is the spice of the OTT. :)

Man, I swear, reading this thread is like reading something in a language you're not quite fluent in. I recognize a good number of the words, but a lot of it doesn't make any sense.

I must observe further to fully decipher this dialect.

This is what the standardistas fight for: an accessible web. It nearly feels like I'm handicapped, and the alt text isn't just for extra humor but to help someone. I thoroughly enjoyed the last page full of pics without seeing nary a pic, all due to the alt text.

I assumed the pics on this page were implicitly described by their OTTish molpy name. If I'm missing more than that, I might feel sad. But until I know what I might be missing out on, I'm fine. :)

You're right, azule - the pics on this newpage so far are pretty self-explanatory (except for mrob's, which is appropriately alt-texted).

You're very welcome! Especially as you seem to notice the brilliance of the OTC now.

We OTTers are an interesting subset of xkcd fans. Not all of our fellow fans feel the same way about Time.

Buy more npbs (or sell bags if you have bag burning) to get it higher. The best goodie is at level 8 though there is another and a badge at 12.

@ mrob27
But don't you know using a loop to force the ONGs is overkill?
If you would like to jump to a number you could just set it thus:
Molpy dot newpix number equals one less than the one you want.
And then you call Molpy dot ONG a single time and all is neat.

I'd like to thank you all for molpy names; I hope they'll be of use...

The Judgement Dip boosts should appear; I guess you'll have to wait for it.

HPT boosts and chronotech and cyber too help bring the Dip.

Yes, we may indeed see them, poster on the 5th page. We may indeed.

Seeing the ruminations on the meaning of the OTC at such an early stage is fascinating. How it went from melancholy to probably-very-content for some people when they realized that Megan and Cueball were sitting next to the water. I believe I will greatly enjoy this blitz, however long it takes me.

I've just reached the point after the Fading (fight the fade...) and some guy seems to have the full content of the OTC in his avatar... Ok, that was the Glass Ceiling broken - what next?

Given a few days I will have Badge Not Found and Warhamer, the toughest - Battlestation is a long term objective - several weeks. Logicat is crawling on, though the rewards may be modest (suggestion if you get answers wrong don't drop the power below 0 - I am now positive but it took a while).

I could get Panther Salve but it would not do anything other than waste Glass blocks, should I turn the glass off (or nearly so)?

Or what?
