It'd been down for about 19 nopix.

My epilogue page is now broken and I probably won't get around to fixing it todip.
When I do, I'll need to decide how to fix it. Easiest is to fill in the 19 missing oldpix, and pretend they were there all along, we just couldn't see them. The alternative is to leave them blank, but then I'll need to fix/hack my cycle detection/coloring logic. Preferably in a non-BlitzGirl-OCD-triggering way. (So we can't have the post-gap frames colored yellow.)

The vital questions we must ask in this situation are:
  1. Were they there all along, and we just couldn't see them?
  2. Is the epilogue continuing the cycle it was on before it broke as though nothing happened, or did it stop and start again?
  3. Or is it starting a new pattern?
  4. ????
  5. PROFIT!!
Only Time will tell. (No pun intended, seriously)

How I make my predictions:
Spoiler:
  1. Make a wild guess.
  2. Molpy, molpy, molpy, molpy,
  3. Grapevine, grapevine.
  4. Prophet!!

Hmm if I molpy down then it saves. But if I import, save and reload, it goes back to molpied down. This hotdog is problematic.

Otters,

How frequently would the assembled multitude of otters like to see the Beany ONGs?

Re: 1190: "Time"

Postby lmjb1964 » Wed Oct 23, 2013 7:12 pm UTC

I was on FB briefly yesterdip and saw that both HES and Valarya said they hadn't been in the OTT for wips. At that point I hadn't been in the OTT for waaaaaay too long, and I started panicking that maybe other otters hadn't been going to the OTT, and that the OTT had ended and everyone was gone and auuuuuggghh. So I said to myself, Self, I said, you'd best go visit the OTT tonip. But then I got sidetracked by Important Outside Stuff (Ok, cleaning out my heater vents so I can turn on my heat was kinda important), and then coma struck. The thing is, I kept waiting to get "caught up" on Outside stuff so that I could have a whole chunk of time for Time ketchup. But todp I realized that is never going to happen. There is too much ch*rpin' Outside. So, I stepped into my official RAZOR time portal and sped directly here, to the future, or rather, present, from the past. I'll see to that ketchup one of these dips.

But in the meanTime, you have NO IDEA how happy I am to see you all again! ANd HES came back too! And there are new ONGs (with ghost beanies, apparently), and I can't wait (ok, I can) to find out what is up with those green amoeba-looking hats.

As far as how often to see the Beanie ONGS, a newpix is of course traditional, but every other newpix or so would make it last longer. I don't know, what does everyone else think?

ETA that I had the same thought as HES--I was so happy to see our thread at the top of the list still! And--Time went away for a while? Was it just gone? What does it mean?

waveney wrote:How frequently would the assembled multitude of otters like to see the Beany ONGs?

I think 1 every 4 nopix is a molpish rate. I would like to see them more frequently, of course, but I'm concerned that with the current OTT posting rate that will be too often.

Hi, lmjb! And HES! :D :D :D

Yes, the OTT is still here, though it's slower. A lot of OTTers have apparently been swayed by the Outside, despite my basementing efforts. It's so easy to think, "oh, I'll just catch up tomorrip," and then tomorrip becomes the dip after that, and then the dip after that, and then you're behind and the ketchup might be intimidating. (I myself have yet to properly ketchup the newpages I missed while on vacation - if I didn't skip them, I would have fallen behind the pace.) Outside Time is a constant threat to our Time, and if too many OTTers are lost to it, that would be endish.

But thankfully, many of us are still here! And now you xuys are back here, too! Yay! Image

The images for the epilogue sequence couldn't be retrieved from the server, so 1190 was just a broken-image symbol. It was terrible.

But if you pretend that it was a harbinger of Time: The Sequel everything's better again!

I see. You used Apple Maps to try to come back here.

How did you turn it off in the first place? Stopped eating?

It's called 4D, or so I heard.

I don't care, as long as it lasts forever.

Now, time for a prediction: I predict no one will be here by TIME's first birthday. Well, no one but me (and possibly BlitzGirl).

Well, as long as there are two of us, we can still post back and forth! And hope that the anniversary of Time will attract more OTTers back.

I think 1 every 4 nopix is a molpish rate. I would like to see them more frequently, of course, but I'm concerned that with the current OTT posting rate that will be too often.

Seconded.

Hopefully this sentence joins the honourable list1 of wrong predictions in the OTT. I, for one, do not intend to leave. The river is small!
Wait on.

Hmmm. If I accept one of your deadly wonderful brain slugs hats to put it down on, will you have one less? Will you be one brain slug hat closer to freedom danger? Or do they reproduce by themselves?

(BTW, what's the protocol? Should I address Neil or Neils's brain slug hat with my questions?)
