Actually, it's technically yellow. But it doesn't really seem like it when your eyes are so filled up with photons from it that the cells are beginning to die.

RELATED because it's still around 11000 years later.

Google helpfully tells me that hamplies weigh between 0 and 0 kg. I'd say that's sufficiently light.

第三十九章

(chapter 38)

Not far after the stream-that-does-not-lead-to-the-mountain-pond, Morobu pauses and listens. He hears some mechanical shuffling off to the left. He glances up (knowing that in fact he is probably actually glancing downhill) and sees a glint of metal in between some trees in the distance.
"Hello?" Morobu calls out. There is a faint reply. The bot is approaching, so Morobu simply Waits, and then calls out again.
"Hello, I am oldpixbot. I'm just enjoying a little stroll..."
"In Japan? You're a long way from the OTT!"
"It's not far for a robot. Forever Young, you know what they say... But it's far enough to relax. That OTT work is fun, but there are only so many times I can demand that everyone ''Bow for your robot overlord!'' before I need to take a break."
Morobu looks around, and frowns. "Aren't you still supposed to be posting UNGs?"
  "No, I got ninja'd."
  "Ninja'd?"
"Yep! Someone posted a link to the Voldeframe in their signature back on Newpage 1953. Inasmuch as the Third Law of Oldpixbotics clearly states, An oldpixbot must post the UNG, except where such posting would conflict with the First or Second Laws, or if he really doesn't feel like it, that means I'm done. So I'm taking a vacation."
Morobu decides to change the subject. "Is mscha with you? I met him a few dips back, but he had no bots."
oldpixbot emits an electronic chuckle. "No, of course not. The bots have him, not the other way around!" Morobu hides his discomfort. "I programmed him to survey the mountain; he should be near the summit by now I expect. I set him on a clockwise uphill spiral. He thinks he's looking for the Dojo of Searchfu, but of course that's just his cover in case he is asked."
  There is an awkward silence.

Maybe it's just that Otters have a flutter problem in laminar flows. A similar search for its close cousin, the Turbo Beaver, didn't turn up any such images.

Ironically, image searching for "otter flutter" is much less SFW than "laminar turbo beaver".

FYI, there are several other RELATED de Havilland aircraft:

From the top of Page 615, I am struck with lyrical inspiration for one of my favourite songs!

To the tune of Crowded House's "Don't Dream It's Over":

Spoiler:
There is Waiting within
There is Waiting without
You could hold the River in a paper cup...
Vegetation ahead,
Feels like Cuegan are lost
And they'll never see the end of the sand
Or the Sandcastle again

[Chorus]
Hey now, hey now
Don't dream Time's over
Hey now, hey now
When the Sea comes in,
Let it come, let it come
Cause it will meet the River
Where it empties in
[/Chorus]

Now they're hiking through hills
And they're looking for truth
The vegetation is causing me suspicion
But I have no proof
I am Blitzing each day
Some would say "it's a waste"
But I keep on clicking on the next NewPage

[Chorus]

Now they're walking again
It's like they're on the run
And I'm watching their steps just to see where they go
Mysteries are ahead
But will there be truth
Or will I be left disappointed and just never know?

[Chorus]

I want to know!
(Hey now, hey now)

[Fade]

Disclaimer: I didn't upload the video, I just picked one with decent sound quality. Also, posting this makes me feel quite HUMBle.

It's non-linear, though. One a page is 24 NPd-1, but the usual rate was more like 10 NPd-1. Even OTTers have to coma sometimes.

Somehow, I had expected it to be hidden in a deep vault behind a sequence of sturdy steel doors, with access granted only to scholars like our tresoldi.

If they did that, people would try to steal it.

Still several more pages to ketchup (BTW, my dad sometimes uses the word ketchup in this sense, as it's a think even non-OTTers do) but I must eat lunch.

Oh, hi. So I'm back from spending a wip in Cairns. Unlike my home locality (which has the regular 4 seasons, the current one being winter), Cairns has a wet season and a dry season. It's currently dry season. Which means the weather is absolutely perfect for visiting the beach, lazing around in the pool, or walking around in shorts. Take that, winter!
One of the first things I saw on the way into Cairns was a big sign which said "WIP". Further examination revealed that it was a construction company called Work In Progress.
I saw lots of trees and the oceansea and people building sandcastles (I did some too) and some wowterfalls and heard lots of strange ch*rps from the local raptors.
I also saw Lucky, on the side of a truck belonging to a Document Shredding company. Apparently they employ Lucky to do the actual shredding. Also, one night I think a woman in a room close to mine (instead of glass windows, we just had horizontal wooden slats which rotate between open and closed, so sound carries) found Lucky. She sounded excited about something, in any case.
Oh and I visited the Flutterbee Sanctuary. That was really treeish.

Ooh! I know why at least two of those images are results, without even Googling it. The Otter is a seaplane, and two of these are screenshots from a flight simulator - most likely X-Plane, which is made by a company called Laminar Research. (No idea about the middle picture - it's not a simulator, and it doesn't look like an Otter).
