I wish I didn't have my garage. Or the house it is attached to.
Since I don't actually live there anymore, it would be nice to not have to deal with it anymore.

Saw my first armadillo (armamolpy?) todip. Wasn't able to get a photo, unfortunately.

While letting me use it is indeed exceedingly molpish of you, have you considered using it for something like this instead?

So, it has come to this. The First Commandment is now an "infraction"? What is this, prelude to the 1190 sixties? Will we soon be seeing signs saying "GLR is dead"?+ So sad what the world has come to.

Only in the rest of the Forums. The rest of the forums are usually weirded out (in a bad way) by our use of OTTish so, as a holy inquisitor, I have silently and arbitrary decided that all use of OTTish outside of the OTT is unmolpish and shall forthwith be met with candy.
Tyndmyr's "Wait for it" was in line with the rest of the topic (in this case proof of immortality). In that case there is no problem, although OTTers will get a chuckle out of it that is denied to the rest of the forums. "The river is small" is not a logical post outside of the OTT framework so it is in violation.

It has a nice 'ring' to it.
I'm sure you can fit it into a conversation, somewhere.

I think the extra SOME is a bug in @Link's version of AUTOMOME. (To test it through the HTML interfce, follow that link, select "Filter Settings", put WAWLPY in the "Filter expression" box, click "Back to memes", click the Cuegan to get a meme, go back to Filter settings, change the filter to SOME and select the "Lock template" checkbox, then go back to memes, and click the Cuegan a few more times.)
I think the bug only appears when a plural noun is the word right after SOME. Mass nouns and properties (e.g. AWESOMEFULNESS) don't seem to be affected.

To compare to my version of automeme, (since there is no way to lock the meme) you have to just put WAWLPY.*SOME in the Filter: box and click the Cuegan icon a few times until it manages to generate a WAWLPY meme:

YO WAWLPY, I HEARD YOU LIKE BUNGALOWS SO WE PUT SOME BUNGALOWS IN YOUR BUNGALOW SO YOU CAN :AZULE: WHILE YOU :AZULE:
YO WAWLPY, I HEARD YOU LIKE M&MS SO WE PUT SOME M&MS IN YOUR M&M SO YOU CAN EE:EE:EE WHILE YOU EE:EE:EE
YO WAWLPY, I HEARD YOU LIKE HERESY SO WE PUT SOME HERESY IN YOUR HERESY SO YOU CAN DELURK WHILE YOU DELURK
YO WAWLPY, I HEARD YOU LIKE KEYBOARDY-SMASHITUDE SO WE PUT SOME KEYBOARDY-SMASHITUDE IN YOUR KEYBOARDY-SMASHITUDE SO YOU CAN WAIT WHILE YOU WAIT

(The published version of my automeme does not substitute adjec-noun into the YO WAWLPY… meme, but I'll be adding that soon.)

While testing this I noticed that my HTML interface was not playing nicely with filter patterns like M&M and MRORL_S that contain the special symbols & and _. I think I've fixed that now.

I've had an avatar since shortly after xkcd 1047 came out (in 2012), so there should definitely be something at …/Time/api/avatar/img/232629. What is that server for and how did it get set up? Why does it have just an IP address and no hostname? Perhaps something to do with a bookmarklet that may or may not relate in some way to @Sciscitor's Constellations of Time?

On the OTT facebouk redundancy group I posted this:
Hi!
I'm a bot.
(Ok, not really)
(But soon I will be replaced by a bot)

There are OTTers outside this facebug group.
Some of them would really want to be able to read what's posted here.
But for some reasons will never join facebug.
I will leave facebug soon.

I had an idea.
I can set up a system kind of similar to the OTT mirror.
I think I know how to do it.
A bot will read the posts here and save them on a botcastle.
Then other OTTers can see them.

But, unlike the OTT, this is not a pulic group.
This is a secret group.
It means that people may post things here that they wouldn't post publicly.

The redundant copy can't be public.
It will be only accessible behind a password.
The pasword will be given by PM to any OTTer who needs it.
But to nobody else.

Additionally, the real names will be replaced by OTT names if known.
Or with "OTTer" if unknown.

What do you think?

Is it ok to do it?
Or maybe the group is too secret even for that?

I'm busy with something else now so it may be some weeks before I actually do it.
Wait for it.

Context is important.

"I'd like to keep the Quaternions for myself, though. I like to line them up slightly out of order, and watch the sun glisten on their rigid bodies as they rotate back to conjugation. Not the split-biquaternions, though, anyone can have those rough little beasts."

That quote is from a Jasper fforde forum online community which was very active five years ago, but... has faded.

Google it for context.

Hi!

As an adamant non-facebugger, I'm all for it (what with redundancy being molpish, and all that), but the decision ultimately belongs to those who are directly concerned.

I am all for this. I don't like FaceBug but I can understand why people use it. To Read It All™ I would have to start facebugging but that would mean allowing the FaceBug scripts EVERYWHERE and that means being traced all over the web. That is currently not what I want (Hence my use of NoScript). A non-facebug place where I could go to to read the parts that I miss would be brililous.

Some time ago I noticed that the "mobile" version, m.facebook.com works correctly without scripts. So a bot can read it.

"the Mind Glow of Schrödinger's Gingercat"

Funny thing, the term Mind Glow is a reference to the Treecats in David Weber's Honorverse novels, so that makes sense.

It's a Sciscitor initiative.

I offered db.chirpingmustard.com but there were config issues.
