wowterfallish! Is there something you did to the sky in the frame to make it look more "drawn", or is it just from it being lower resolution? The effect seems to work pretty well. Can I link this to the guy on reddit, just to show them how neat?

You ought to call your *Himmeltechniker* and have them look at it. My sky has always been continually updated. Or just replace your sky with @@mscha's awesomeful version. (Ch**rp that was fast!)

In this particular case, nothing actually changed. Once per dip, the bots on my server "push" a new &Q04B& update to anyone who happens to load the Q04B page.

No stars, all static. It's cloudy, but even on a clear night, the webcam is too low quality and there's way too much environment light to see any stars. The moon, maybe.

ETA
So I remembered to look at the XKCDSW thread for the first time since mid-April (when I became nonPope of page 202). The first new reply was by mrob27 (and was unexpectedly analytical. Off the top of my head it probably has more text than any post I've seen in that thread, not that there's anything wrong with that. It's good to see someone actually thinking through the way they do humour.)
And then...
