Officer suspended from horse.

So there's in fact a force in aisle five? If it's an attractive force, I understand why there's a horse standing nearby.

Aside: as I was trying to centre the alt text below the image, it hit me that the forum doesn't have table tags.

When I saw the name of the strip, I guessed that "horse" will again be a "random" word.

I guess I was probably right? What is up with Randall and horses?

It apparently made me Vice-Mome(?) of Cantan Hill. There aren't some estates included in that title, perchance? No? Well, thought so...

Well, OK, but, rather than word substitution, how about tinkering with spelling?

Words ending in vowel, consonant, vowel, consonant have the penultimate consonant doubled, so for example 'below' would become 'bellow'.

You could add similar rules that turn "lose" into "loose" and "to" into "too", and the whole Internet would be ... just like it is already...

Unbalanced horses are to be avoided at all times.

...which reminds me of:

mathmannix wrote:Horses have over two hundred million legs.

According to the UN, in 2006 there were 58,372,106 horses in the world. Each horse has four legs, more or less. The mean is probably very slightly under four, but close enough to 4 for estimation purposes. Unless the number of horses in the world has gone down significantly in the past 8 years, there are at least two hundred million horse legs out there.

The mean horse has only three legs, however. (I am thinking of a specific mean horse. That is why he is mean; he hasn't got a leg to stand on, and he knows it.)

Another horse, a horse which is greater than the mean, has more legs. Two legs in the rear, and forelegs in the front. That makes six legs, which is an odd number.

Fox Horse Five. I don't know what the other three animals were, but I suspect one was a kung-fu panda.

Does this really work all that well? I am thinking of "force" as a verb being used in headlines, such as this:

Spoiler:

(Yes, there are several verb meanings of "horse", but most are obscure to me, with the exception of "horse around". The best I can do to parse that amended headline is "A wildfire supplied the evacuation with horses.")

It could just be terrible grammar, and it should really say "Wildfire horses evacuate dozens of Yosemite park visitors by helicopter".

A wildfire horse being a horse with super fire powers.

i.e. Rapidash.

I understand it as the Wildfire herd of horses used helicopters to evacuate the people from Yosemite.
