Seriously, there's at least three distinct deities that are identified as Ba'al, and a ton more as Ba'al is also an honorific and could be applied to any god, provided you're speaking an earlier Semetic language
It's kindof the "John Smith" of deity/demon names. Including people respelling it creatively to try to be original without actually thinking of a new name. I'm looking at you, Beleth. You finicky so-and-so.
