Oh, hadn't thought of it that way, and that makes much more sense! Maybe that means we'll be seeing the comet soon?

I am guessing this comic's name will change when the mission is completed. This is Randall's "live drawing" of the mission as it progresses.

Why did this have to happen tonight, I am supposed to be studying for my exam, not watching XKCD and the landing.

I supose I can forgive GLR for not posting a what if last week if he was getting this ready though.

Next image is up now.

Hard enough that we (most likely) wouldn't get it finished by the time this thing reaches its endpoint.

Getting in early on the new One True Thread.

I am not sure whether it should be called the Two True Thread or the Too True Thread.

And if it isn't evident already, I must adjourn for the evening lest my coma deprivation induced incoherent inanity inundate the thread further.

The number of posters showing up here with "Time" related signatures is, of course, neat (but then, I too haven't really posted much since "Time", except for occasional ducks into the OTT, so I shouldn't be surprised).

I wonder if the OTR drew this one in advance, or if he is livedrawing it along with the landing.

If the latter, well, it just got a "go" on the fourth go/no-go call so he's not going to end up drawing a frame with "you will not go to space today" in it and finishing the comic in a rather anticlimactic fashion.

If the mission fails in a crash, I think the only redeeming feature would be the black comedy of a "you will not go to space today" frame tbh.

Here's hoping that Up Goer Rosetta does go to space rock today!

Given that it's already in space, it would be more of "you will not go to the ground today".

And if he did draw it in advance what if disaster strikes and something goes wrong, would he have to re-do the comics?
