I finally feel the thrill the original OTT'ers must have felt when watching a comic update live... except this is mirroring real world events, which adds a whole extra layer of awesome to it.

Awesome, not only did I tune in just when then exciting part began, I did so just moments after the link to http://xkcd1446.org appeared so there it was no hassle reading it from the beginning. My timing today is impeccable.

It's exciting to imagine that right now an ancient comet could be blown into a million pieces and we're to blame.

Maybe harpoons don't work that way, though.
