Is it healthy to be 30% cereal?

And as David Letterman once pointed out: "It's amazing that all your internal organs--your heart, your lungs, your kidneys, your spleen--operate in total darkness!"

And your brain... It's like you put a laptop on top of a CD stand on a trolley. Ok, so it's in bubble-wrap in a box (with ventilation), but so vulnerable....

Googling 'body made from dissolved bread' leads to lots of pages about the Catholic doctrine of transubstantiation, which I'm suspecting isn't quite the reference ... can anyone enlighten a mere Arts graduate?

I'm guessing it's in reference to the fact that bread is the main source of calories, or at least the most significant single source of calories, in Western countries.

And the dissolving part is what happens in your mouth and in your stomach. It's not a pretty picture, but then again, bodily functions rarely are...

At what average age does the age of your new doctor become less than your age? First time that happened to me it was kinda spooky.

I've seen this skit previously, but it finally occurs to me why it doesn't click for me. Why would any creature not made of meat care enough about meat for the concept to make conversational sense here? I mean, it's meat to us because we eat it. To anyone else it's just part of a dead animal. Or a living one, in this case, but still definitely a part of a whole, where the whole is the easily identifiable unit.

The thing is trying to layer together two different, unrelated perspective flips, and it doesn't work for me.

Sounds like my last visit to the doctor.
Or my car to the shop - "Hey! It still runs!". For certain values of "run".
