Title text: As far as "being in the pocket of Big Egg" goes, I think the real threat is Chansey.

Didn't know Big Foot had any pockets... Must be where he keeps all the deniers who fight so hard to hide the truth.

As was said in the Daily Show, people rally when you say "I will break Big Oil," but they laugh when you say "I will break Big Wind."

I'm supported by the American hairpiece and toupee industry. You could say I'm in the pocket of Big Wigs.
(and I didn't even know wigs had pockets!)

And now I will ruin this by telling you I'm getting money from manufacturers of heavy goods vehicles, that is, I'm in the pocket of Big Rigs.

Being a lobbyist for multiple Utah marriage bureaus, one is in the pocket of Big Amist.

(Not to be confused with the Ohioan Traditionalist Farmers lobby.)

In this part of the country they were mere adjunct to Big Enchilada.

On a serious note (C sharp?):

During the Spanish American War, given William Randolph Hearts's support for the war and his friendships with several "titans of industry" and the fact that Cuba was a major supplier of sugar to the US, the soldiers often wondered if they were there really to secure the interests of "Big Sugar".

Now, I really would not want to fight and die for Big Sugar. However, I could REALLY get behind a war on behalf of Big Chocolate, if that effort could secure the blessings of liberty and the ready and inexpensive supply of that manna from heaven, that source of all that is good and holy in this world, for both me and my children. Since the climate requirements for cocoa beans are similar to those for coffee beans, we should take steps to secure both of those resources from the terrorists.

"Honey sweetened nougat with whole roasted peanuts".

I don't think Big Chocolate was involved.

Big Nuts, however...

Their advertising slogan (according to Wikipedia) seems appropriate to this conversation...

Although it's awfully funny, I don't think "Big Hole" quite fits with the naming scheme of the other "Big X" nicknames (even the fake ones in this comic). Holes aren't the mining industry's main product, and they aren't in its "full" name. I think the more natural nickname would be "Big Mine," or maybe "Big Ore."

...though they are the oil drilling industry's main product. I can't remember which movie it was, but the scene was a driller hired by a wildcatter (who did end up finding oil)... the drill rig operator said "Let's make some hole" (or something in that regard).
