I love how he leans forward a bit in the third panel, then leans back into his triumphant pose in the fourth.

As a counterpoint to the anti-overuse of that's what she said jokes sentiment this comic displays, look how awesome the guy feels in the second panel.

When you are telling That's What She Said jokes, you feel like you are a killer comedian, a witty bringer of hip catchphrases and the star of NBC's The Office all rolled into one.

One of my favorite comics so far. That pose is hilarious.

Nice. I'm watching the office as I wrte this too.

I like to think of that guy as Michael Scott, because that is probably how he would react in that situation.

I like that show.

As many as the number of posts that set up the joke (intentional or otherwise).

I think this comic is supposed to be about how the "that's what she said" jokes started, which no one seems to be mentioning, but maybe I'm just an idiot.

Although... this whole thing does seem strangely familiar. The fingers did surprise me though.

Hi! Haha, yeah. I've read the comic for a really long time and have checked out the forums, but never made an account. And nobody had posted the thread by the time I had finished making an account tonight, so I posted the comic! Pretty exciting, I must admit. :)

Yeah for me the other comic ruins this one, b/c it's been done before. The fingers/pose was a nice twist, but it's still the same joke.

Anyway, it's amazing how much more you can get out of the way stick-figures are posed than you can in most other comics. And the lettering, and the thumbs. These are things that people take for granted. When Randall combines his genius humour with these fine touches, magical things happen.

Doesn't matter if it's been done before, it's funny. It was funny, it is funny, and it will be funny.

You have to wait for the opportune moment, though. You can't force it.

They started because they're funny. And the Wkipedia article "That's what she said" redirects to double entendre.
