someone else mentioned that it was great being single on valentines day (cant remember why)

Because everyone you see out alone (if you got out on valentine's night) is almost also definately single as well...so makes the whole flirting with strangers only to realise they are married or in a relationship less of a problem...still doesnt solve the problem of people's sexuality and getting that right...

I'm chronically single, but bear no animosity toward Valentine's because i assign no importance to it. If others want to, i figure that that's their problem. i just get chocolate out of it.
