Alt-Text: She also starts every letter with "Dear Future <your name>".

I apparently have nothing to add.

Reason: If you create the thread, at least have something to say about [the comic in question], other than "First Post" or some other stupid thing.

I have traveled here from 1990 to say this:
Apparently she was born in 1983, and thus at any moment since then, she has technically been traveling through time from then.

I've traveled here from the year 1988 to say this, I really enjoyed the subtelties of the comic. I've traveled here from the year 1988 to say this as well, get out of my head Randall because I am currently watching Doctor Who which is a show entirely about Time Travel and sometimes touches upon the people who, well let's just say "Take the long way."

My boss once observed, "It is possible to travel through time, but only in one direction, and at a constant speed."

I'm not so sure, though. Yesterday I laid down on the couch and shut my eyes, and when I opened them a minute later I had traveled two hours into the future!

That would get annoying fast.
Took me a moment to figure out the reason for 1983, but I caught on soon enough.
Birth years aside, it's also the year DeLoreans came out, thus the earliest possible date for construction of a time machine.

This just reminds me of The Time Machine by H.G. Wells, and how it describes humans as two dimensional animals; able to travel nontrivially in the third dimension only through higher technology, and able travel nontrivially through the fourth dimension (time) in our imaginations.
