I think you're right. Also, on further analysis, I don't think that's Post Secret, as that's kinda a part of LJ. I think it's "Post *rt" with the *rt possibly starting with a 'w'.

Definitely webcomics should be on there. Penny-Arcade etc must have quite large communities? Are ridiculously out of date Geocities pages there anywhere? ooh, also would things like eBay and Amazon count? Ooh and imdb...

Anyway, Randall's map is definitely the best out of the ones I've seen, not because it's the only one not made in MS Paint but because it has a compass that categorises things neatly Analysis = teh win

Love the comic, been reading it for quite a while, but this latest one finally got me to register here.

I like it, but have some comments.

- 4chan (and possibly 2channel (2ch? 2chan? which one do you mean?), I don't know because I don't go there) should be further to the South. I think their position relative to eachother works, and the size is about right (though 2channel could be a bit bigger) but their place on the map is wrong. Somewhere near the Sea of Trolls and the Sea of Memes would fit. As much as 4chan would hate to admit it, it belongs right between SA and YTMND. Or if you're really looking to please the 4channers, make an Ocean of Piss and place 4chan right in the middle of it. But that's probably too much to ask.

- Runescape is probably too large. Either that or WoW is too small. I don't have any exact numbers, but from what I know WoW is quite a bit more larger (more larger? oh well) than RS than it is in this picture.

- Second life should be to the East of MMO land. It should be pretty much half in MMO land and half with the Anthropomorphic Dragons. People who've played SL will know why (Furries, thousands of them!).

- Where is Gaia Online? As much as I dislike the place, it's a pretty big community from what I've heard and seen. Way bigger than, say, Something Aweful.

Gaia Online is notable for having the biggest forum. I looked around there once. You look at the listings, refresh the page, and the threads you just saw are now 10 pages down.
