Red?

Come on. Green laser pointers are the way to go!

In other news: I really hope this is what my dog is thinking when she looks up at me, clearly unimpressed, as I circle her head with my laser pointer.

EDIT: Also, gratz on getting the thread up with your first post ever. I did the same thing a few weeks ago! A great feeling of success, isn't it?

An atrocious pun.

So we can add 'ate the dot from a laser pointer' to the long list of 'methodologies of gaining superpowers'.

Though I don't actually have a cat, this looks about right based on extensive observations, research, and high levels of cat pro--- kitty!.

Also congrats on being the only thread (that I could see) for today's comic!

my friend Catherine doesn't even pay attention to lasers anymore. She'll glance at the dot, then stare right at the pointer in your hand, and stare in annoyance, then goes back to whatever she was (not) doing. You can get the dog interested for a few seconds though.

Cat dreams, at their best/worst.

I'm sure this is what happened once my grandma's cat caught on to where the fascinating red dot came from.

That's not very realistic. Lasers don't go "fwoosh", they go "pew pew".

I'm sorry, all I can think about now is being a Jedi and using my lightsaber-eyed cat as a weapon while my bisected enemies futilely scream "LASERS DON'T WORK THAT WAAAAAYYY . . . "

Cats also have the ability to supercharge a laser pointer. I presume the extra power must be electrical in nature, as there is a ready supply of cations.

Also, I really like the art in this one, it captures the way a cat moves.
Please note that despite the lovely avatar Sungura gave me, I am not a medical doctor.

Possibly my proudest moment on the fora.
