0120: "Dating Service"

And when I say candlelight dinners, I mean dinners of candlelight.

I just like the taste of wax, ok?

Earwax candles work, but not in severe cases. I've used them before, and you can see the wax that has accumulated in what is left of the candle. However, Because I don't care enough to use q-tips or wahtever kids these day use for earwax, i recently developed a clog in my right ear, which impaired my hearing. I used 4 ear candles, to no avail.

(To any curious parties, earwax softening solution and an ear flushing bulb syringe are the answer)

edit: Naked Mole Rat starts with N. Created a typo.
edit 2: Newts.

I don't think I've ever dragged anyone further than 3 miles on a *date* that involved walking on the beach, altho I've dragged a (now ex) bf up and down a mountain when we were supposed to be in a car driving somewhere once...

I dig the tent idea though. Clearly I'm just dating the wrong guys!

That's odd, because as much as that's a totally valid response, I could've sworn Cowie was challenging someone to make a candle OUT OF earwax... hrmmm. I don't think I'd want to try that, in any case.

I enjoy sunsets (especially if I have a camera) and long walks on the beach (during which I will probably spend some time analyzing wave motion), but not candlelight dinners. It's not that I have a problem with candlelight or dinner; I just prefer to be able to see what I'm eating.

I'm also annoyed by cliches but like self-referential humor.

I got clogs in BOTH ears. Both showed my vain q-tippy efforts to clean my ears.

REALLY belated reply (I like how this thread has managed to spread out over nearly 4 years, yet has such few posts): those earwax candles don't really work. My friends and I set up an experiment in which we burned some by themselves (no ears involved) and they still got that orange waxy stuff in them. Turns out it's a by-product of the candle, not actual earwax.

Reading this comic, I remember a phrase in my native language "jalan-jalan" which literally means "take a walk". Now, people keep using that phrase to say that they go on vacations, albeit using cars.
Finally found one comic mentioning a Trading Card Game:
