I'd rather the mayhem and destruction be kept to stupid internet forums than real life. But maybe that's just me.

I don't know why, but I really liked this comic. Maybe because it had a deeper meaning than the text. But I dunno.
By the way, doesn't Randall realize that holistic.xkcd.com will soon be spammed with porn sites, resulting in an endless loop of lemonparty and such? You'll have like a one in a million chance of not ending up at a shock site. Maybe that is his plan. Is he trolling us?

Hulk considering spamming it with interesting sites, just to be different.

I'm spamming it with links to the CrashCourse YouTube series to help strangers learn.

Woah those replacements by filters drove me mad.

It took me a while until I figured out that all those “2”s instead of “to”s were not intended by their authors. Also, I started to question my English reading skills and the English writing skills of xkcd forum users...

The preview lies. Durn. This editor waxed eloquent on the matter, with sed as a sidekick and fix, but it bungled the intent. (Paraphrasing) "Adjustment as necessary targeting the audience appropriately, wisdom makes allowances" so stated the original. Instead, with editing made necessary, this adjustment, by force, autoedit required. Loathing for the need fills this editor's soul.

The comic was damn good.
The Moderators word filters are damn good, also.

I find that the fact that some words have been changed to make speaking interesting. I first thought it was an inside joke among the majority of the forum.

I don't get how this Holistic xkcd website works... I know I'm going to some website that other people are directing me to.. but what happened to the original web address that I type in... Am I directing some other user to go to that address?

I'm more interested in that Holistic link than the comic.
Also, why is everyone talking with weird syntax, and why has the Cat Proximity thread been necro'd and changed to centipede Proximity?
EDIT: Oh, I see, it's a site prank where everyone's language is getting rearranged; like what 4chan and FunnyJunk do sometimes, but with more style to it.

As previously mentioned, why did hair guy shave before falling in the hole?
Or alternatively, why did the hairy a-hole become less of a whole before falling in the hole?

The word filters add to the theme of the latest comic, don't they?
Hoo, familiar situation. I often hear people "explain" things that way; I've done it myself way too many times. Of course it takes a certain level of attention and receptivity on the part of the "receiver" of a message, but it also takes an awareness on the part of the "transmitter". Differing association networks and all that.

I came here looking for an explanation, but apparently the XKCD forums automatically make everyone sound like a retard.

And using that word makes you sound oafish.

Who was being held back? (I'm assuming that's what you meant.)

Ok the holistic browser page was just harsh. Who ever put in the page that I got is just a jerk for spending time looking for that.

So did anyone figure out why the hair guy lost his hair in panels 8 and 9? I can't find any significance in it.
