I can't wait for Season 5 to start here! I'm getting Season 4 on DVD for Christmas, but I friend bought it the other day and we've already watched them all!

End of Season 4 was epic!

I don't know why I haven't posted here yet. I like this show.

Just a shoulder pat to Foreman, don't feel bad, man, i don't think you're boring.

Me too. That episode made me sad.

When you watched "Joy" (assuming you have), was it sponsored by Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa? Because woman bleeding profusely out her vagina followed immediately by a cartoon lion singing "I like to move it, move it" is pure win, as they say. Someone needs to teach those Hulu folks about a little something called "key demographics."

Oh yeah, and House is incredible. Anybody who doesn't like it can just go and...

I finally got to watch Season 4 today. Now I get to wait for Season 5 on DVD.

Spoiler:
The finale was so tear inducing, I didn't expect it to be Amber he was with (from earlier in the season), and had finally grown to like her when that accident happened. House saying he didn't want Wilson to hate him was so sad :(

But Cuddy stripping was hilarious. No complaints though...

ahh, House.
Was slightly surprised when I saw him on Friends, not too shocked that he was English.

Anyway, I'm not sure if its been asked, but is anyone else disappointed with the latest season? In my opinion its becoming far more drama than witty medicine. And as far as the entire new team goes, made for an excellent story idea, but now it still seems as though they don't really play much of a role.

Oh, and I'm still mad at the entire HouseCuddy combo. I stopped feeling sad for her lost baby the second she ate his face.

He'll certainly have feelings when Cuddy gives birth to his child. In Season 6. It's going to happen. You know it will.
note that this is not a spoiler, because it hasn't even been discussed in the show yet.

NEVARRRR, House will not have Cuddy's child. At best she will get herself another baby and House will babysit and eat it.

More likely House will babysit, give the baby back at the end of the day and its first words will be "people suck".

Dang, I only saw the last 5 minutes of last week's episode. The change up in format is pretty neat, but I really hope it isn't turning into Grey's Anatomy (I love you, no wait, I love you now. she's pregnant! he's dying! oh yeah and we're doctors)*.

And since I haven't made this thread awkward enough, where do they get all the medical footage, x-rays, etc.? Is it all faked/ drawn with computers, or are there people out there who get to telll their friends to watch for their colonoscopy footage or skull x-rays on this weeks episode? I mean, I would kind of think they'd need permission to use it, although it's not really stuff you could identify a person by...

*disclaimer, I have only seen 2 episodes.

I like House, but I feel like the formula is getting a little thin. The fun of House relies on House being an unhappy, amusing asshole. Sadly, this precludes character development that lasts more than a few episodes. Unfortunately, a show can't survive if it's central characters never change. Hopefully, the Cuddy thing is a sign that they're at least going to try to leave their comfort zone a little.

New episode= very awesome.
Spoiler:
my favorite part was when Cuddy and House were being all romantic and then House just goes for broke and grabs her breast.
Also, anyone wish they would focus more on the medical case? This episode had 3 "b-plots" and only House/Cuddy and the "Sick" hooker were funny.

I missed the first 25 minutes because some friends decided to drop by unexpectedly with their kids, and WAKE UP my two daughters, who had already gone to bed, resulting in several hours of cranky screaming. However, what I saw was pretty acceptable from the medical-plot standpoint (a little sub-par, maybe) and they didn't focus nearly enough on the MCs, but the less is more approach tends to work with Cuddy and House since they're so overpowering anyways.

So here's a question, is house a sociopath? He HELPS people, but he's a giant arogant prick about it, totally obeys only his own rules, and does things in these weird, cold, superiority complex, logical ways SOMETIMES that may make you think he's almost aspergers...and yet he's clearly not... so what's left? Sociopathy.

Opinions?

I don't think so. House alienates everyone around him and keeps them at a distance, but he has some form of a conscience. There's a reason why he's an asshole to everyone, and that's to avoid them getting too close to him. The only one he allows to be even vaguely familiar with him is Wilson, and they have a lot of history.

He wants, but not directly, to be the best. He wants to do what no-one else can do, and he often does. However, he is a colossal misanthrope, and while he understands people and motivations and emotions all to well, he seems to be a bit blindsided when people act against what he believes to be the natural desire for self-preservation at all costs. He viciously beats people with the truth, because it's lies that ruin the world. It's lies that destroy people, emotionally and physically, and he sees himself as just about the only person who is capable of seeing and accepting perfect truth.

Much like Wobbly-headed Bob, he's also a giant dick about it, and seems to have no idea why people get upset when he gives them something as simple and basic as perfect truth.
