I've really been trying to push Nine Planets Without Intelligent Life on Mr.Xkcd, but it doesn't seem to have much effect.

Among other things, I'm pretty regular with Dinosaur Comics, Perry Bible Fellowship, A Lesson is Learned But the Damage Is Irreversible, and of course Penny Arcade.

So come on now, let's discuss some of these fine pieces of the internet.

My current favorites are Something Positive and Questionable Content. Queen of Wands used to be #2, but the storyline finished. I also like Ozy & Millie , Diesel Sweeties, The Devil's Panties, BoxJam's Doodle, and Boy on a Stick and Slither.

I must admit, I'm here because a friend found this on google. I guess the only other true webcomic I've read is Ctrl+Alt+Del which I don't care for.

My oh my! No one reads xkcd!

The only other webcomics I read regularly are the products of the two great masters, being Megatokyo and Questionable Content, and also Dinosaur comics. I read many others (too many to mention [not actually, I just don't feel like listing them]) as well.

I read Real Life, UserFriendly, and use to read MegaTokyo before it lost all pretenses of being funny and became a long drawn out borring, pointless unmotivated story.

Girly, Cutewendy, Dinosaur, Questionable Content, all four Double Fine comics, Perry Bible Fellowship, White Ninja, Diesel Sweeties, Queen of Wands, Cyanide and Happiness, Kristy vs the Zombie Army, Edwitch, Thinkin' Lincoln, Stuff Sucks, No 4th Wall To Break, and I've just begun to read most of the rest of Dayfree Press comics (except Little Gamers, which I just do not find funny).

Edit: I also have started reading Chugworth Academy (really awesome), Wendy, The Adventures of Penis (Only about 50 strips of it, though), Able and Baker, A Lesson Is Learned But The Damage Is Irreversable, and Punks and Nerds.

I mention the comics that are my biggest influences at the bottom of the page, and aside from those I also read Questionable Content and Penny Arcade (which I've only recently started to truly appreciated), as well as Copper, Wondermark, Boy on a Stick and Slither, Partially Clips, and Tiny Sepuku.

I think it's worth mentioning again what I think is the best comic on the web, the now-ended Buttercup Festival.

Something Positive and Questionable Content are the main ones. I also sometimes read Diesel Sweeties, Least I Could Do, Penny Arcade, Scary Go Round, and 8-Bit Theater. Also used to read Queen of Wands, when it was around.

I've recently pruned that list; it used to also include Mac Hall, Real Life, PvP, Userfriendly, Ctrl-Alt-Del, and a few others, but they tended to make me want to punch the artists/creators more often than laugh, so I removed them, after years and years of reading them.

Older comics I've enjoyed till they jumped the shark were Megatokyo, sinfest, sexy losers (nsfw!), Something Positive, Queen of Wands, and Two Lumps (James Grant, you've dissapointed me again!)

ubersoft - techy, geeky, good (daily, too)
bash.org - not a comic by any means, but it falls in nicely for things that make me laugh
red meat - more than slightly disturbing, but I love the sick sense of humor
userfriendly - great parody of MS, simple comic, nice points
white ninja - a pleasant random white ninja
ctrl alt del - good gamers comic
gigaville - metal gear characters, w00t
loserz - updates have been lacking, nevertheless holding out hope, about a group of high school gamers
morning glory - by far the most depraved comic I've ever read... one that you're sure you're going to hell for when you read it. this comic will offend most people.

I started reading megatokyo.. read through a few years of back logs (I really hate starting webcomics part way through)... liked it, but it has too much of a japanese flavor for me. read through a lot of penny arcade, but didn't feel like reading up to present, which is why I don't follow it now. a now dead, but still great comic, was wigu (and before that topato the poison potato)

Apple Geeks(i have a mac which is why i started and i enjoy the humor, though its become more story driven lately which doesn't mean bad. The apple geeks lite segment keeps the mood light.)
Badly Drawn Kitties (i haven't read this one in a while since i stopped for a while and got lost as to where i was again.)
and of course xkcd

I more or less use the VG cats links section as a place to just close my eyes and click a link and read from there. the only way i can remember which ones i'm reading is from the different colored links indicating that i've been there before XD.

I don't understand why everyone seems so unhappy with Megatokyo not being that funny. I think it's even more beautiful art (what with the practice he has had) and I think it's an extremely well-written story. Someone will disagree with me, but I don't eve know what is up with my standards based on how other people view what I like.

i'm not saying that megatokyo is bad, on the contrary i read every update. The story is nice (though a tad drawn out, very soapish in places) and it still retains some humor(i think piro has gotten the hang of some of the original humor) but Largo was the humor embodied in the original writing.

i think the 'a softer world' parody was my favourite of the parody week... it was so realistic but yet so cutting... the original is good too
