You may be right. it's easy to get lost in simple equations sometimes... It's a big universe.

This, is Epic.
I love it, the intrigue, the suspense, the tear in reality!
This is the best XKCD in a long time.

And I'm sorry I didn't understand the Sario rip comment, I've never read Animorphs so I don't know what it is.
Wait... :)

But if anyone were ever to discover the meaning of life, all of space and time would collapse in on itself, and in the place that remained a large sign would appear saying:

The rip was terribly, horribly, unnerving...It was...so...very..analog...

:(

The scar was wonderful though, such sharp contrast.

i really hope this isn't "Barrel Lad Type Sequeling".

hmm...

well, whatever.

anyways, does anybody else have a little feeling in the back of their mind that says that the other Choices will be unrelated to this one, and each just a separate comic about a different choice of a different-but-extraordinary nature?

by the way, new avatar.

I don't think I get your Sario Rip comment...But I did my research.

Do you mean xkcd may be the back side of the page that Sario created the very colorful cartoon 'Fuzzy Things', on?

Sweet!

Not only do we get a running story (implied by the "part 1") but a comic every day! Awesome.

However, I would moreso like to see what became of Janeane Garofalo.

That was an awesome throwback to the days of quadruled xkcds. I would probably get a rope and secure myself to the side i'm on.

I know that the one dinosaur Megamorphs involved one that took them back in time, but I was pretty sure the basic idea was of a rip in space-time (or Z-space, maybe?).

This was a wonderful comic.

I found the bit I was talking about - page 320 my copy.

here be spoilers for House of Leaves wrote:Regrettably, Tom fails to stop at a sip. A few hours later he has finished off the whole fifth as well as half a bottle of wine. He might have spent all night drinking had exhaustion not caught up with me

If anyone wants to talk about it, we could make a thread in general

Like Gödel, Escher, Bach. I never saw the relation between some formal systems, some drawings, some fugues, Lewis Carroll, some ants, some computers, some Buddhism, some recursion, some stacks and pushing and popping, some records designed to resonate at the frequency that breaks the player, some DNA, some excellent witticisms, and the brain.

Didn't they require some kind of ridicu-huge explosion to set off, though?

Hey guys =D
I never post on these forums, but I'm a relativley big fan of xkcd. When in my photography class our assignment was to make our own comic, well, I just had to re-do this story.
I'll post the individual pages in the individual forums for simplicity's sake. :3

So, I recently went back and read this comic, and all I could think of was Amy Pond's Crack in the Universe for Dr. Who. It's even the same shape. Anyone else?

No, which is weird since I'm almost always thinking about Amy Pond's crack.
